Template:Kart-infobox The Piranha Prowler is a large kart that appears in Mario Kart Wii. The character's emblem is on the kart's forehead and seen on both sides of the vehicle. The kart resembles Petey Piranha. The kart can be unlocked by winning the 50cc Special Cup.

This kart does not have a bike counterpart. However, its stats are loosely similar to that of the Mini Beast. The mouth of the kart opens up when driving; this is most noticeable when it spins out, the player does a trick or blasted out of the cannon in DK Mountain, DK Summit, the speed jump in DK's Jungle Parkway and Maple Treeway, and the Launch Star in Rainbow Road.

The Piranha Prowler is the heaviest vehicle in the game. That way, the player is less likely to be knocked around by other drivers. It also has good speed and mediocre handling and drift, but its other stats are below average. Bowser's Piranha Prowler is the heaviest combination in the game.

  • Funky Kong's color scheme's version of this vehicle features Petey Piranha's color scheme, Petey being the basis of the Piranha Prowler.
  • Dry Bowser, DK, and Male Mii are the only characters in the game not to have white dots on their Piranha Prowler. Dry Bowser's are black. DK's are red, and the Male Mii's are blue.
