Template:Recipe-Infobox A Shroom Fry (called a Fried Shroom in Paper Mario) is an item found in Paper Mario and Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. It is one of the most basic dishes that can be made in the games.
Tayce T. and Zess T. can create a Shroom Fry by cooking a Mushroom or a Super Shroom. The item heals six HP and two FP, and can be sold for five coins. Cooking a Mushroom in this way will improve the item, but cooking a Super Shroom is a little more questionable. The resultant item will heal less HP than a Super Shroom, though it will heal FP; something the Super Shroom did not do.
Once Mario has given Zess T. the Cookbook, a Dried Shroom can also be used to cook a Shroom Fry. Since Dried Shrooms only cost two coins from West Rogueport, Mario will make a profit of three coins per Shroom Fry if he sells them.
It was succeeded by the identical Fried Shroom Plate in Super Paper Mario.
