Template:SSB Infobox Alph is one of the three playable explorers in Pikmin 3, bearing resemblance to Captain Olimar from the previous Pikmin installments. He appears as a playable fighter in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U, being an alternative costume to Captain Olimar, instead of taking up his own icon on the character selection screen. Unlike other alternative costumes, the game acknowledges him as a separate fighter from Olimar, with the announcer, crowd and character selection saying and displaying his name.
