Articles[edit]
Great job on creating those articles. However, you leave empty "Names in other languages" sections, which make the article look unprofessional. If you are not aware of the foreign names, don't put the template in. Yoshi876 (talk)

Concerning some of your IP's[edit]
Hello! Due to a recent spike in vandals from a specific IP range, we are blocking said range. This range includes the IP's you used with your iPhone between April and August, but it shouldn't affect you at all if you're logged in. Still, if you happen to encounter any problems please let me know. --™ The 'Shroom 23:40, 16 December 2015 (EST)

This is your last warning. The next time you break the rules in any way, you will be blocked from editing the Super Mario Wiki. If you feel this last warning was undeserved, you may appeal it. |

Image Category Reminder[edit]
Hello, SonicSpeed48. Good job on your recent uploads, but when uploading files, keep in mind that you must correctly categorize the file. It's simple to learn how to do so. Just search for the correct category by starting with the following groups:
When uploading, copy the full title of the category and insert it in square brackets into the summary text box below the {{aboutfile}} template, replacing the {{uncategorized}} template entirely. If you're using the upload function from the text editor, simply add the category link to the description. For example, files related to the game Super Mario World would use: [[Category:Super Mario World images]]or [[Category:Super Mario World media files]] Please consider the above information before uploading more files. Keep in mind that some files can belong to multiple categories. Do not put images into the media files category, or vice versa. If you continue uploading files without categorizing them correctly, then a warning will be issued. Thank you for reading, and keep contributing. |
Your two recent uploads File:Dark Clown Cruiser.JPG and File:Dark Barrel Blaster.JPG were missing Category:Skylanders: SuperChargers Images. --Wildgoosespeeder (talk) (Stats - Contribs) 02:06, 28 May 2017 (EDT)
- It's been over a year, but now your amiibo image lacked the necessary Category:Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Images. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 03:57, 20 June 2018 (EDT)
- Ah, I see you've added yet more categories, meaning you've noticed. Never mind! Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 03:59, 20 June 2018 (EDT)
- Still though, you should do all this stuff as you upload it, not in consecutive edits. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 04:14, 20 June 2018 (EDT)
- I’m sorry, I’ll do better on that next time I upload an image. SmashFan48 (talk) 04:16, 20 June 2018 (EDT)

Infoboxes[edit]
Just to let you know, we don't update character infoboxes appearances until after a game is released, which includes the artworks. 11:56, 13 June 2018 (EDT)
- ^ This again. Returning fighters don't get the unreleased game in their infobox until after the game is released. New fighters do, as there's no other game to associate them with. 18:41, 5 September 2018 (EDT)
- Fine, but can hidden placeholders work at least? SmashFan48 (talk) 19:39, 5 September 2018 (EDT)
- Eh... Nah, should wait til the game gets released. 20:59, 5 September 2018 (EDT)
- Think of it like this: if the placeholders are there, and when the game eventually releases, it will only take a simple deletion of seven items instead of typing the whole thing out. It would be a lot less work for the one wanting to add Ultimate into their infoboxes. SmashFan48 (talk) 21:05, 5 September 2018 (EDT)
- Sure, or we could avoid the placeholder step altogether and just add the title once the game comes around without adding another edit to the history. 21:09, 5 September 2018 (EDT)
- That's the complete opposite of what I just said. Trust me, the placeholders will save a lot of work for the infoboxes of the 63+ veterans when the game does release. SmashFan48 (talk) 21:20, 5 September 2018 (EDT)
- Literally only a few seconds' worth of work. While I'm not against adding the placeholders, I really don't see any point in adding them either when it takes little to no more effort typing the full name out once the game releases. Mario JC 21:53, 5 September 2018 (EDT)
- It's against all infobox rules. This one is no exception. Alex told you not to, so don't. We don't add appearances in infoboxes until the game is released. Hidden or otherwise. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 23:26, 5 September 2018 (EDT)
- Well excuse me for trying to help. SmashFan48 (talk) 23:28, 5 September 2018 (EDT)

- Fine, whatever you say, boss. But just so you know, that goes for the Original 12 as well. SmashFan48 (talk) 23:47, 5 September 2018 (EDT)
- How I think of it is a character can't appear in a game that hasn't been released. We're not trying to make you mad or anything, we're trying to help you understand. 00:10, 6 September 2018 (EDT)
- Well you already failed in that prospect, that's for sure. >:( SmashFan48 (talk) 00:13, 6 September 2018 (EDT)

Image use[edit]
Hi. Thanks for uploading the SSBU amiibo images, but when you upload an image, please make sure it appears on at least one page. Thanks. Yoshi Egg 1990 08:07, 20 June 2018 (EDT)
- Oh I’m getting to work on that right now, so don’t worry, they’ll be on the amiibo page soon! SmashFan48 (talk) 11:30, 20 June 2018 (EDT)
Special moves[edit]
Please do not designate the new characters' special moves until Nintendo actually confirms "(move) is (character)'s standard/side/etc. special move / Final Smash." Thanks. Mario JC 22:47, 16 August 2018 (EDT)
- Tell that to the SmashWiki admins. Plus you can clearly see Chrom using Counter in the vs match between him, Lucina, Dark Samus, and Ridley. SmashFan48 (talk) 11:00, 23 August 2018 (EDT)
- What SmashWiki does is of no concern to us. They literally have a fan-named article over the cloud platform from the Melee Yoshi's Story stage. Which I personally find to be rather silly. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 12:57, 23 August 2018 (EDT)
"Special moves" should also be lowercase. Mario JC 22:56, 5 September 2018 (EDT)
Editing[edit]
There's no need for this. Edits (even those by long-time users) are bound to be reverted a lot, so don't be discouraged if that happens every now and then. Just try to understand that we have rules and policies here that may or may not be different from other wikis, and as an encyclopedia we try to present information that's as accurate to the available source as possible and not based on speculation, especially when it comes to upcoming content. Mario JC 07:44, 14 September 2018 (EDT)
- Yes, but it always feels like all of my edits get reverted, whether or not speculation comes into play. Not just some of them, ALL of them. And aren't you breaking that rule already by saying that Luigi's Mansion 3 "appears to be set in a hotel"? SmashFan48 (talk) 11:55, 14 September 2018 (EDT)
- It's just the ones that go against the rules. Getting edits repeatedly reverted isn't something to be bummed about, it just means you need to learn from the mistakes and avoid doing such edits in the future, and through that you'll improve. As for the Luigi's Mansion 3 edit, that's inference, not speculation. It's evident from the interior like the numbered rooms, the janitor cart and Mario's suitcase. Mario JC 00:57, 15 September 2018 (EDT)
Moving files[edit]
When renaming files, please make sure all of the pages that link to the old name (labelled "(file redirect)" under "File usage" at the bottom, e.g. Mario Party 10 still links to File:Mario amiibo.png's old name) are fixed to the new name. Mario JC 04:52, 21 September 2018 (EDT)
- Yeah I know, I just haven't gotten around to doing it yet. I apologize, and I'll get to it right away! SmashFan48 (talk) 22:36, 21 September 2018 (EDT)
Furthermore, when you move a file, once all the links have been properly fixed, make sure you tag your redirects with {{delete}}. I've done it with the MKAGPDX files, but the rest of them are on you. If you need more help, take a visit on my userpage. Trig - 20:40, February 9, 2020 (EST)

Banana[edit]
Thanks so much for making this edit; I tried to remove the false info in a previous edit, but somehow re-added it in the process of splitting off Triple Bananas and didn't realize it until now, so thanks for that! (T|C) 13:53, October 23, 2019 (EDT)

Starting with Peachette?[edit]
Hi, could you elaborate on how a player could start with Peachette as their first character in Mario Kart Tour? And if so, do you happen to have a source for it? Since it seems to not be a well-known fact. MarioComix (talk) 01:44, November 5, 2019 (EST)
- The first time I turned on my version of the game, after completing the tutorial, I was awarded Peachette. I can't really give proof, since I have almost everyone on the game's roster, but I know for sure I started with Peachette, no joke. SonicSpeed48 (talk) 16:51, November 5, 2019 (EST)
- I wonder if there's any video footage online of someone else getting Peachette? Oh well. MarioComix (talk) 23:14, November 5, 2019 (EST)
- Found one. [1] SonicSpeed48 (talk) 00:45, November 6, 2019 (EST)

Broken file links[edit]
Your last two tables had these. Please do not add broken file links for images that have not been uploaded yet until they are actually uploaded. Mario JC 05:12, December 18, 2019 (EST)
This again - I know they might be uploaded soon but please stop adding forced dead links to pages until they've been uploaded, otherwise I'll have to issue a reminder. Mario JC 05:02, February 12, 2020 (EST)
- I meant to get to that last night, but I fell asleep before I even got the chance to upload them. I'll get them uploaded today, I can assure you that! SonicSpeed48 (talk) 11:30, February 12, 2020 (EST)
Statistics[edit]

Uploading images[edit]
Hi! It's great that you're uploading the images of the tracks from Mario Kart Tour, but if you do from a screenshot, please give me a list of which so that I know to replace them with sprites. Thanks! TrainiaxLet's chat! 11:19, January 16, 2020 (EST)
Birdo profiles and statistics?[edit]
Hi, I noticed you reordered the List of Birdo profiles and statistics. Is there a particular reason for doing so? I was under the impression they were meant to be in chronological order, but I'm not sure. MarioComix (talk) 01:28, February 11, 2020 (EST)
- Oh, I just reordered it on how I thought it looked better like: main Mario series, Mario Kart, Mario Sports, Mario Party, Smash Bros., and Mario RPG. Since the RPG games can take up a lot more space, I thought it'd look better at the bottom. SonicSpeed48 (talk) 01:39, February 11, 2020 (EST)
- Well, generally we like to keep things chronological on the wiki, including main character pages and gallery pages. Because if we start allowing too much arbitrary ordering, then it opens the way for there being no real structure to the pages. MarioComix (talk) 01:59, February 11, 2020 (EST)
Regarding file renames[edit]
Move file first, then change the links, not the other way around. What you're doing leaves red links for an indeterminate amount of time. Also, please no moving files if they don't break any rules in the file naming policy. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 03:20, February 20, 2020 (EST)
- Seconded. The files you are moving do not need to be renamed. Additionally, make sure you delete the redirects when moving a file using {{delete}}. You have been told this repeatedly before. For a fuller guide, see my userpage guide by clicking here. Trig - 08:08, February 20, 2020 (EST)
Baby Rosalina Tour?[edit]
Where did you even find it? I swear I searched everywhere for Mario Kart Tour-related sites and accounts and I didn't find such a thing. Gold Luigi (talk) 07:49, March 6, 2020 (EST)
- Look on the app itself. If you don't have it, it's on the Mario Kart Tour Twitter. SonicSpeed48 (talk) 10:44, March 6, 2020 (EST)
- Ah sorry, I don't have the app (my phone is too crappy to be compatible with it) and at the time I checked the Mario Kart Tour Twitter account, it wasn't announced. Well, at least they did announce it a few hours ago. Gold Luigi (talk) 11:42, March 6, 2020 (EST)
Edit sniping[edit]
This was very uncalled for. If you want to do a project for me, you should let me know first; otherwise that messes up my organization. You included the tweets in the exact same format I did, so there's no way you didn't know. --DeepFriedCabbage 11:02, March 19, 2020 (EDT)
- That's the thing, I honestly didn't know that was a thing that was going to be done, I just wanted to help out. I'm sorry that I didn't notify you beforehand, but in my defense, I didn't even know those were made by you. SonicSpeed48 (talk) 13:13, March 19, 2020 (EDT)
- That's ok, I understand now. I just thought you did know because the format you used matched mine. I suggest checking when something was added next time. --DeepFriedCabbage 13:41, March 19, 2020 (EDT)
- I will next time, and it just matched because I like things being consistent with one another. Sorry for the confusion, man! SonicSpeed48 (talk) 13:59, March 19, 2020 (EDT)

Even after this discussion, you're still doing it. Come on, we just went over this. If you really want to add the tweets, let me know, because adding them has been a project of mine I've consistently been doing. I just want to prevent conflict, OK? --DeepFriedCabbage 12:26, March 24, 2020 (EDT)

Do you just want to take the whole project? This is the third time. If you want to help, let me know, because if I don't know, that messes up my organization when someone else goes in and does it. --DeepFriedCabbage 14:09, April 8, 2020 (EDT)
Cup links[edit]
Hi, next time you add a "Signature kart sets" section, be sure to correct the cup links in the images as well. Just FYI since the last few tours were like this and some users had to correct them later on. Mario JC 22:13, May 6, 2020 (EDT)
You did this again for the past two tours. Pay attention to the "link=" names as well. You're already changing the image links; you should also remember to change the clickable file links too. Mario JC 07:12, July 1, 2020 (EDT)
Mario Kart Twitter project[edit]
Hey, you've been on top of the Mario Kart Tour stuff more than me, so I was wondering if you could take over adding the tweets? I issued the warnings because you took over without my consent; you have my permission to take over now. --DeepFriedCabbage 13:04, May 7, 2020 (EDT)
- You sure, man? I don't wanna take this project away from you. SonicSpeed48 (talk) 15:00, May 7, 2020 (EDT)
I need a "yes" or a "no" on this. Do you want to add the tweets instead, or have me keep doing them? (I'd actually prefer the first option.) --DeepFriedCabbage 15:32, May 10, 2020 (EDT)
- Sh*t, sorry about that. Yes, I can go and add the tweets instead if that's what you'd like. SonicSpeed48 (talk) 19:29, May 10, 2020 (EDT)
Last warning[edit]
This is your last warning. The next time you break the rules in any way, you will be blocked from editing the Super Mario Wiki. If you feel this last warning was undeserved, you may appeal it. |
I've already been through this twice now and you're still doing this. Stop adding file links with no actual files. Upload first, add later. Mario JC 06:49, May 20, 2020 (EDT)
Mario Kart Tour Twitter Images[edit]
Hey, so I noticed that we're both uploading images from the Mario Kart Tour Twitter. I personally don't mind the way we're both going about this, but for future, could you make uploading the image to the gallery page your first priority? It's the easiest way for me to check if the image has already been uploaded. Now, usually the Wiki lets me know if the image name is the same, or if the image has already been uploaded, but today it didn't lol. Now I'm going to go delete that duplicate lol MarioComix (talk) 18:12, May 22, 2020 (EDT)
- Oh, alright then. Thanks for letting me know for next time! SonicSpeed48 (talk) 19:34, May 22, 2020 (EDT)
Mario Kart Tour pipes[edit]
Hey, can you not add pipes in the future to the tour pages? The Jungle Tour Pipe 2 just came out, and the percentages and some of the orders of the items were wrong. -- It's Meester Tweester! 02:58, May 27, 2020 (EDT)
- Oh, so you don't want me to ever add the pipes onto the tour pages again? Think I'll screw them over again? How presumptuous of you. SonicSpeed48 (talk) 03:15, May 27, 2020 (EDT)
- I never said to not add the pipes ever again, you're using a strawman fallacy now. I said don't add pipes that are happening in the future. You added a future pipe, and you got it wrong. I didn't presume that, it already happened. I don't think adding in pipes in the future is a good idea since you could get the pipe info or percentages wrong, and that's exactly what happened here. Plus, if I never caught it, the wiki could have had it incorrect after the tour was over, so good thing I did catch it. -- It's Meester Tweester! 01:04, May 28, 2020 (EDT)
- That tone was also unnecessary. You shouldn't assume information based on previous tours. Mario JC 01:12, May 28, 2020 (EDT)
Marine Tour Two Screenshots[edit]
Hey, just noticed you uploaded two screenshots for the Marine Tour, and that you obtained them from "Marine Tour dump". May I assume that these are from within the app? If so, I'll be removing them from the Twitter section of the gallery page since they would not be from the Mario Kart Tour Twitter account. MarioComix (talk) 20:22, July 13, 2020 (EDT)
- You'd assume correctly, MarioComix. Go ahead. SonicSpeed48 (talk) 20:24, July 13, 2020 (EDT)
Re:Mario Kart Tour models[edit]
Hey there. I'm wondering where I can find a resource to import and render the tires? Sorry about the wait, the models aren't available on the models resource and I have a lot on my hands. I mean, I know I can get an apk of the game and download it to my phone and then output the models with AssetStudioGUI, but is there a better method that doesn't involve me downloading the game?Ray Trace(T|C) 22:53, July 29, 2020 (EDT)
- From what I've seen, Afelix has used Blender when importing and rendering the tire models, but it's not available on iPhone or iPad. So unless you've got a really good Windows or Mac computer that can pull it off, that "AssetStudioGUI" thing is your only choice. SonicSpeed48 (talk) 23:27, July 29, 2020 (EDT)
- Oh, don't worry about having a program. I'm just wondering where there's a place where I can download the tires? I really don't want to install Mario Kart Tour in my phone. Ray Trace(T|C) 14:16, July 30, 2020 (EDT)
- Maybe ask SwampyGator, he knows more about this than I do, plus he uploaded the first versions of some of the tires, sh he might be able to help. SonicSpeed48 (talk) 21:38, July 30, 2020 (EDT)

Courtesy[edit]
A larger version was uploaded while no image width was specified on the article, so the image used the image's original size. Even if this was an error made on the article itself, the comment in your summary was not necessary at all, as were a number of your past edit summaries, after I already reminded you to tone down the rudeness. Watch that attitude around others and in summaries or a block will be issued, final warning. Mario JC 00:03, September 11, 2020 (EDT)
Tables[edit]
I want to let you know that the process of editing all those tables on course articles was conceived as a personal project and while anyone is free to help, no one should feel obliged to. Hence, please don't change them back to how they were before. Having a cup's icon as a link to that cup's page is not intuitive when the name right beside it can be linked instead. There is also an ongoing proposal to use a specific terminology for in-game tiers, in which I've expressed that the "level" indicators currently used for tiers can be conflated with the game's level-up system. In addition, all of the proposal's current voters lean towards the "Top / Middle / Bottom" set of indicators, so that can be assumed to be the eventual outcome of this proposal. Until it is formally settled, however, the tier terminology on those tables should be left unchanged.
Again, I do understand your reasoning behind your reverting, seeing as how it's a lot of work to make the tables consistent between all the other pages and that you have already put a great deal of effort in keeping Mario Kart Tour information up to date. I insist that this is not necessarily our project and you shouldn't contribute if you don't wish to. I alone am able to take care of it all. -- KOOPA CON CARNE 11:23, October 10, 2020 (EDT)
- Something interesting happened as that proposal was going: Nintendo actually addressed the issue with a clear terminology for the top two shelves! The official terms, "favorite" and "favored", are attributed to courses and not items, but we can modify certain phrases to put focus on the courses, as in "this course is favored by/a favorite of this kart/driver/glider". This means that instead of "Top" and "Middle" tier, in those course tables, we should put "Favorite of" and "Favored by". As it has been discussed and agreed on in the proposal, we should only recourse to the "Top/Middle/Bottom" outcome when it's difficult to apply Nintendo's own terminology. -- KOOPA CON CARNE 07:39, October 24, 2020 (EDT)
Personal images[edit]
Hello, just reminding you that you have too many personal images (maximum is 5). Please choose the ones to keep and mark all the other ones with {{delete}}. Thank you in advance. --DarkNight 14:16, November 2, 2020 (EST)
- I don't see why one is allotted only 5 personal images, especially when the majority of mine are being used for my seasonal signatures. SonicSpeed48 (talk) 14:48, November 2, 2020 (EST)

Standard Time[edit]
You're still adding the wrong times to the tour infoboxes. It's Standard Time now, not Daylight Saving Time (10pm - 9pm, not 11pm to 10pm). Mario JC 20:55, November 27, 2020 (EST)
Bonus challenges[edit]
Appreciate you wanting to help create those bonus challenge articles, but I would have liked you to ask me beforehand if you could collaborate on the project as I already had another batch of pages in queue. For now, I can let you continue if you so wish--just please leave the pages Vs. Mega and Big Reverse Race for me to create. Thank you. -- KOOPA CON CARNE 00:30, December 20, 2020 (EST)

RE:Steer Clear of Obstacles[edit]
Sure, you can go ahead :) I am quite procrastinating on the Big Reverse Race page because I'm iffy on some of its current table arrangements... do you want to help give some feedback perhaps? If so, I will post a sample in my sandbox for you to see. -- KOOPA CON CARNE 04:19, January 8, 2021 (EST)
Big Reverse Race[edit]
I'm very sorry for not getting back to you earlier. I had already started cooking up a list in the way you proposed, and sampled two versions of it in my sandbox here for you to see. I discovered that the drivers, karts and gliders used by opponents, as well as their positions at the beginning of the challenge, are always predetermined, so I made sections for each initial placement in the race wherein I put the corresponding drivers and their equipment. Both of the current arrangements, however, look a bit cluttered due to the large amount of content that we have to cover, and I was wondering if you have any idea on how to make the table tidier. -- KOOPA CON CARNE 11:49, January 12, 2021 (EST)
- I should mention that you are free to edit the Big Reverse Race section in my sandbox if you wish to test something out. -- KOOPA CON CARNE 11:53, January 12, 2021 (EST)
Course pages[edit]
Hey, regarding those edits on MKT course pages, I would like to remind you some of the things I have told Lemon Meringue (talk) on their talk page. First off, I've noticed you are changing "bonus challenge" back to just "challenge", even though the latter forms a different in-game concept from the former. Secondly, you are still adamant about removing cup links in tables, even though the wiki's manual of style states that duplicate links are allowed within tables and lists as they increase accessibility without the risk of clutter that exists in prose text. Indeed, in our example, if one wishes to look for a particular cup they've seen in a table, it is less convenient having to search the surrounding text for a link to it than it is to simply have the link at the ready. Reining in those links likewise goes against the already-established practice of linking to particular karts, gliders and drivers repeatedly within those same tables. -- KOOPA CON CARNE 02:02, January 17, 2021 (EST)
B Dasher Mk. 2[edit]
The Sprinter kart from Mario Kart Wii was recently moved to its new name "B Dasher Mk. 2". Please be sure to remove the "Sprinter" part from "B Dasher Mk. 2" when putting tour stats on course pages so that it links to the actual page instead of the redirect. LuigiMaster123 16:54, March 12, 2021 (EST)
Course links[edit]
You keep changing the links of courses back to the ones without the console abbreviations without providing a reason as to why. The courses should link to their new titles so they don't link to a redirect. You did the same thing with the course links on Mario and Peach's profile pages, which I reverted because, due to the length of their profile pages, I spent a long amount of time individually changing each course to its new link. Trick animation images[edit]
Hi. Just a heads up about the trick animation images for Rosalina (Swimwear) and Mario (Swimwear).
- File:MKT Rosalina Swimwear Trick.png image is actually the "trick 3" animation
- File:MKT Rosalina Swimwear Trick3.png is "trick 1"
- File:MKT Mario Swimwear Trick.png is "trick 3"
- File:MKT Mario Swimwear Trick2.png is "trick 1"
- File:MKT Mario Swimwear Trick3.png is "trick 2".
Might as well rename these filenames for the images to be consistent. - Infinite8 07:17, September 8, 2021 (EDT)
On course icons/thumbnails[edit]
Mister Wu (talk) has brought to my attention on the forums that Mario Kart Tour uses a folder called "icons" to store those square images that you tap on to select a course. This is perhaps something you were already aware of, seeing as how you have personally ripped and uploaded such images from the game's files in the past.
My idea behind referring to them as "thumbnails" stemmed from them being essentially miniature screenshots/representations of a certain course, which would fit the definition of a thumbnail specifically. However, seeing as how they also kind of fit the bill of an icon (like a computer symbol, they show distinctive features, i.e. a top-shelf driver) and are even officially denoted as such, I wanted to let you know that I've reconsidered changing their names to "thumbnails" and will restore any instances I've got to change so far. I know my edits have been a bit brusque and uninformed, which is why I'm letting you know. -- KOOPA CON CARNE 08:51, February 20, 2022 (EST)
Koopa Troopa Beach in the Peach vs. Bowser Tour[edit]
Just a heads up, but you forgot to add information of N64 Koopa Troopa Beach R/T in the Peach vs. Bowser Tour. The tour is ending in a few hours so I don't have time to fill it in. Silence Suzuka 22:46, May 31, 2022 (EDT)
"Mario Buggy"[edit]
You added "Mario Buggy" as an alternate name for the Piranha Pipes but did not source it. Where did you get the name? 15:30, July 13, 2022 (EDT)
RE:Rearranging of characters in favored and favorite courses[edit]
Which way do they need to be rearranged? Are there pages where their in-game order hasn’t been taken into account? Or are you suggesting a different arrangement? -- KOOPA CON CARNE 20:33, August 13, 2022 (EDT)
- Just by in-game order, and I've only seen Sky-High Sundae and SNES Vanilla Lake 1's tour appearances be by in-game order, and you did undo an edit to GCN Daisy Cruiser's to be by in-game order too. All others don't have the rearrangement done to them yet. Sonic Speed 48 23:04, August 13, 2022 (EDT)
- I myself strongly encourage abiding by the in-game order, if only because it appears to be the most readily available guideline to use for this purpose (another would be the Team Rally listings, but those only include characters and I can't even remember if they're consistent between themselves); however, I wouldn't fuss over a couple mistakes slipping by. The official order is already quite confounding to someone who isn't aware of the criteria it is based on, so I doubt readers would even notice a couple mix-ups; but it would certainly throw them off a bit to not be able to quickly spot a certain driver or kart based on their position in a previous table. I'd say keep the wiki updated at your own pace and stress not too much over potential mistakes that have been made. (Besides, I myself don't really see that many?)-- KOOPA CON CARNE 22:46, August 16, 2022 (EDT)
Suggestion[edit]
Hello again! Now that you reordered the driver/kart/glider in the tour appearance pages to the way they are shown in the menu, I'll ask you one more thing about availability between them. I would suggest to put a gray foreground for drivers, karts, or gliders that are still tour-exclusive (regular obtainable items remains the same). Also, the Bowser Tour is ending soon, and the tour appearance of 3DS Piranha Plant Slide has not yet filled in, so please finish it before the next day, thanks. Tour appearance pages[edit]
I assume that creating and maintaining these pages constitute a huge workload for you. It's honestly inspiring that you've been thoroughly recording the game's development in that area of interest for so long, which is why I'd like to give you a tip: when you make a major contribution to one of these pages (or perhaps just anytime you feel like it), make sure to archive the page's source code on Wayback Machine. I already did it for a majority of city course articles and a few others, such as 3DS Rainbow Road (archive.org). Doing so ensures your hard work is safely backed up and easily recoverable with the sweep of a copy-paste in the event something undesireable happens to the wiki. Hey, you can never be too cautious. -- KOOPA CON CARNE 11:52, August 5, 2023 (EDT) EDIT: In the same breath, don't mind the block notice at the top of that archived page. That blocked IP pertains to Internet Archive's servers. -- KOOPA CON CARNE 11:58, August 5, 2023 (EDT)
About the "thank" notifications[edit]
For your assiduous and, until now, thankless efforts in keeping so many pages related to Mario Kart Tour up to date. Someone had to do it. -- KOOPA CON CARNE 16:31, August 26, 2024 (EDT)
