Hey[edit]
Hey there! I just wanted to say thanks for all your recent uploads, we really appreciate them! --™ The 'Shroom 00:02, 7 July 2016 (EDT)
- You're welcome! I was really surprised when I saw that nobody had uploaded the E3 artworks in good quality, since they are open to the public. Unfortunately, I couldn't upload File:Mario and Huey.png, File:Peach PMCS.png, and File:Group Artwork PMCS.jpg in better quality because they're bigger than 10MB. If someone that knows how to crop and/or resize the images without losing their quality could upload them, I would appreciate. - You could try to apply PNG Monster to the images. Dimensionally big images will take several minutes to reduce file size though. --Wildgoosespeeder (talk) (Stats - Contribs) 00:45, 7 July 2016 (EDT)
- It was worth trying, but after nearly an hour (with Loop activated), it's still bigger than 10MB. --RafaelGN (talk) 01:56, 7 July 2016 (EDT)
- Bummer. :/ Oh well, thanks for trying. --Wildgoosespeeder (talk) (Stats - Contribs) 02:14, 7 July 2016 (EDT)
- You probably should scale them down until they reach the desired limit. For files like File:Group Artwork PMCS.jpg, it would probably work better as a .jpg as how I did with File:MatchArtwork-MarioTennisUltraSmash.jpg (the Paper Mario group artwork is also the same MIME format, so there's that too). Unfortunately, while you do discourage that stuff, it's the only way to get around the 10MB limit. Perhaps we can contact Porplemontage (talk), the owner of the wiki, to see if he's interested in expanding the limit. It's me, Mario! (Talk / Stalk) 19:14, 8 July 2016 (EDT)
- Unfortunately, I'm not an expert in image edition, so I'm afraid the images would not retain their quality if I scaled them down or turned them to .jpg (also, I don't like .jpg at all for artworks). I am going to look at this possibility, though. But no promises. --RafaelGN (talk) 19:26, 8 July 2016 (EDT)
- You could use FastStone Image Viewer. It has settings to save JPEGs by adjusting a slider representing the JPEG quality (5 being Needs More JPEG quality to 100 probably being the quality of 3DS Miiverse screenshots or Wii U screenshots submitted through the built-in web browser as you play a game). You can try messing with these settings to get a decent JPEG going. --Wildgoosespeeder (talk) (Stats - Contribs) 02:39, 9 July 2016 (EDT)

Do you have access to Nintendo UK Assets Library?[edit]
Or have a backup of anything from it? Or any other press site? Thanks --Hiccup (talk) 08:09, 26 October 2016 (EDT)
