"Wario's Castle"[edit]
We shouldn't use conjecture if there's a perfectly reasonable official name as an alternative. LinkTheLefty (talk) 17:55, 4 December 2014 (EST)
- We might as well use "Wario's Castle" it's used as the castle's name on most game titles. Also, I've issued you a reminder for your consecutive edits on the same page, as it's a Level One offense here on the Super Mario Wiki. McDonalds1 (talk) 17:58, 4 December 2014 (EST)
- You need a source for your claim since the castle seems to have only ever been named once. Also, that's what a "minor edit" is for. LinkTheLefty (talk) 18:02, 4 December 2014 (EST)
- Also, you need to approve before you make major changes. McDonalds1 (talk) 18:10, 4 December 2014 (EST)
- Not if the changes are self-evident and are without proper citations, and as you can see on the site notice at the top of this page, this is something that's being worked on especially with older articles. LinkTheLefty (talk) 18:14, 4 December 2014 (EST)

Reminder[edit]
You don't have to justify yourself to me; if LTL wants to take this up with an appeal, you'll state your justifications there and let the admins decide. Hello, I'm Time Turner.
- I first need to know exactly which particular edits you're taking issue with and don't consider constructive, and it seems to mainly be about your edits on these pages (which I've only reverted once, before two others). LinkTheLefty (talk) 18:32, 4 December 2014 (EST)
- LinkTheLefty: Please take the time to read the warning policy. I don't think you have a single understanding of it. McDonalds1 (talk) 18:36, 4 December 2014 (EST)
- I need specifics in order to know why I'm appealing a "warn" issued by you (if I should even bother). So far, you haven't been countering in a logical or efficient manner. LinkTheLefty (talk) 18:47, 4 December 2014 (EST)
- McDonald, refrain from saying Link has no understanding of the warning system, he is one of the most contrbuting users and has been on this week for much longer than you have. I believe you are misunderstood. Major edits do not require permission, and consecutive edits are a crime if all edits are helpful. Toadbrigade5 (talk) 19:24, 4 December 2014 (EST)

Warning[edit]
This is a warning to stop your inappropriate behavior (repeated edit warring with multiple users) on the Super Mario Wiki. Please adhere to the rules or you will be blocked from editing this site. If you feel this warning was undeserved, you may appeal it. |
As dictated in the warning policy, edit warring with other users, especially when backed up with the lackluster reasons you gave for doing so ("disrupting" a non-existent project, "too much" change, and undirected and irrelevant swearing), is worthy of a level two warning, and after the several edits you have undone between Glowsquid, LinkTheLefty, and I, you clearly fall under that. If you feel that this warning is unjustified, you are free to make an Appeal. Hello, I'm Time Turner.
Your actions[edit]
Hey I'd like to tell you that you really shouldn't cite the rules every single time someone "breaks" it. At free-edit wikis like this, major overhauls to an article is an ok thing to do, given that I have done several of myself without any sort of adverse consequences. Of course, it's a case-by-base basis but if a major overhaul complies with policy and would be unanimously agreed upon (say, reorganizing everything under a table), then that's perfectly fine to do so without editorial consensus or proposals.
By the way, swearing is allowed in this wiki as long as it's not directed at other users nor if it's excessive.
Just helping you out considering that you're still a new user to this wiki and all... Ray Trace(T|C) 18:48, 4 December 2014 (EST)
Reminder[edit]
Hi, just a reminder, don't give IPs warning templates like you did here. You can only do it to registered users, to warn IPs, just give it words and not templates. Thanks for reading and keep contributing! :) ~~ Boo4761
- They just committed a level 3 offense, so that is why I issued the warning template. Anyways, I won't in the future. McDonalds1 (talk) 19:44, 31 May 2015 (EDT)
Multiple edits[edit]
Hello, if you will make more than one consecutive edits to a page, please mark them as minor. And use the "Show preview" button next to "Save page" so you can review your edit before saving. Thanks. --™ The 'Shroom 15:37, 13 June 2016 (EDT)
- Sorry. It's a bad habit of mine. I'll try. McDonalds1 (talk) 15:41, 13 June 2016 (EDT)
"Prequel"[edit]
MarioWiki:Good_Writing#Frequently_misused_terms - Reboot (talk) 22:01, 9 July 2016 (EDT)
- Heh! Yeah, I guess I did use the wrong word. Lol! At least I now know which one's right! Still though, that kinda needed changing as a sequel isn't a game before said game; rather, it's a game AFTER said game. McDonalds1 (talk) 22:08, 9 July 2016 (EDT)
- Sure, but changing from one wrong word to another is kind of a lateral move (and I did go through and kill the wrong uses of "prequel" before, so I don't want it starting over again)! The only actual Mario game prequels that come to mind are Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island (and, by extension, most of the later Yoshi platformers even if they don't have the "Super Mario World" title, I suppose) and Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker.
- Still, no great problem, at least you're trying to help. - Reboot (talk) 22:21, 9 July 2016 (EDT)
- Yeah. You're right. McDonalds1 (talk) 23:46, 9 July 2016 (EDT)
