Regarding your message[edit]
I seen your message and apologize; also, some art files aren't require for Transparents. Second, you don't give a warning tag toward an admins. L151

RE: PNG to SVG[edit]
Your suggestion I've seen can't work for various reasons. First, SVGs are vector-based graphics, not pixel-based. That means that, they're drawn with special lines and curvature that don't lose their size when you scale the image. However, the vast majority of .pngs in this wiki are all pixel-based graphics, not vector-based, meaning that converting them to .svg would be pointless. Finally, not all browsers and devices support .svg integration, whereas, all support .png, so converting rasterized, pixel-based graphics to .svg would be a waste of time. .SVGs work for images that have more simple lines and colors, like game logos for example. Screenshots and 3D artwork, most of the wiki contains simply aren't compatible with .svg. BTW, you can create vector-based graphics only with special programs such as Illustrator, most others such as Photoshop, GIMP, Paint.net, etc, are all pixel based. Image revert[edit]
Was there any reason for reverting the template image? I don't see any problems with the old version. J-Luigi (talk) 15:37, 12 March 2016 (EST)
I liked the old version. -- MarioMario456! 15:39, 12 March 2016 (EST)
- That's not really a good reason. Images should only be reverted if there is a new, better version or if there was a problem with the old one. Also, you should have your sig image be 35px instead of 50px. J-Luigi (talk) 15:41, 12 March 2016 (EST)
- My favorite number is 5, dumbass! -- MarioMario456! 15:44, 12 March 2016 (EST)

Appeal notice[edit]
A {{reminder}} or {{warning}} that you issued to another user is under dispute. You may comment on the matter here, but please remember to abide by the rules listed at the top of the page. Thank you. |
My case is on the page. J-Luigi (talk) 16:11, 12 March 2016 (EST)
Warning[edit]
This is a warning to stop your inappropriate behavior (abusing warning privileges) on the Super Mario Wiki. Please adhere to the rules or you will be blocked from editing this site. If you feel this warning was undeserved, you may appeal it. |
You need to calm down and stop overreacting when people disagree with you or inform you of your mistakes. Within five hours of registering your account, you issued not one but two completely inappropriate warnings, one to an admin, and the other falsely accusing someone of vandalism. If you continue this reckless behaviour, you will get yourself blocked before too long. Also, please refrain from altering images being used on official templates in the future: if something should be changed for legitimate reasons, bring it up in a talk page discussion first. - Walkazo 01:48, 13 March 2016 (EST)
Re: Moved page[edit]
I'm not sure exactly what you mean. I don't have an SNES either, and chances are I don't have the game these characters are from on Virtual Console. J-Luigi (talk) 09:00, 20 March 2016 (EDT)
- Also, please change the image in your sig to 50px so it complies with the rules. J-Luigi (talk) 09:02, 20 March 2016 (EDT)
Mask Koopa[edit]
There was an old proposal to merge all post Special Zone enemies, if you want to recreate the page you will have to go through the proposal process. Yoshi876 (talk)
Character infobox[edit]
Please note, that only latest profile artwork can be added to that character's infobox (not involves sports).
My sig[edit]
I apologize for owning a horrendous sig on this wiki, and I will change it immediately so I don't offend the sensitivities of people like you.
Oh wait, that's not going to happen. Ray Trace(T|C) 16:32, 21 March 2016 (EDT)
- Also, it's not a good idea to threaten people (ala your talk page display title) with powers you don't even have. Ray Trace(T|C) 16:35, 21 March 2016 (EDT)
Sigfix[edit]
Dear MarioMario456, Your current signature is in violation of one or more of the rules listed on MarioWiki:Signatures. Please change your signature and keep the regulations and requirements in mind when creating future designs. If you have not made the appropriate changes within one week of receiving this notice, your signature will be changed for you. |
There are a couple things wrong with your sig: firstly, you've essentially ignored two messages saying you need to change the image size to 35px. Secondly, instead of posting raw coding, create User:MarioMario456/sig and put your sig (with the 35px image) there. When you create your sig subpage, make sure it fits in this box:
If your sig exceeds the boundaries of this box, it needs to be adjusted for that. Also, be sure to put {{subst:nosubst|User:MarioMario456/sig}} in your preferences. J-Luigi (talk) 16:51, 21 March 2016 (EDT)
Don't remove comments on talk page[edit]
Hi, you can't remove comments on talk page. It's one of the rules on the Mario Wiki. No user can't remove comments.--(TALK) 17:02, 21 March 2016 (EDT)
- To avoid many problems, I suggest you read the rules of Mario Wiki.--(TALK) 17:05, 21 March 2016 (EDT)
Last Warning[edit]
This is your last warning. The next time you break the rules in any way, you will be blocked from editing the Super Mario Wiki. If you feel this last warning was undeserved, you may appeal it. |
If a template is deleted by an admin, then they have a good reason to do so, and you are not allowed to recreate it without permission. You have been breaking several rules over the past few minutes, if you continue with this behaviour, then you will get blocked. Yoshi876 (talk)
Clarification[edit]
Hello, I am currently wondering what you mean with your display title for this page. It is reasonable to tell people not to delete comments, although comments are not allowed to be removed from talk pages anyhow, but you aren't allowed to ban people from your talkpage. Yoshi876 (talk)
- Specifically, we should like you to clarify what a hammer comment is, since this is very mysterious to us. RandomYoshi( • PMs • ) 08:40, 22 March 2016 (EDT)
- If you want to put me a warning on my talkpage, use permission of a Patroller or Sysop. -- MarioMario456! 17:21, 22 March 2016 (EDT)

RE: Friend[edit]
It's not that I'm alone, it's that I've become extremely inactive on the internet due to this year being my final in school. Also being friends is a moral connection, not a physical thing that can be asked for. As for the introduction to my talkpage, it's a joke.-- 04:18, 19 December 2016 (EST)Sigfix[edit]
Dear MarioMario456, Your current signature is in violation of one or more of the rules listed on MarioWiki:Signatures (Rule #6). Please change your signature and keep the regulations and requirements in mind when creating future designs. Your signature needs to fit in the box above. Please shrink your images down a few pixels. Oh, and you can view a discussion on my talkpage for clarification. (T|C) 11:11, 31 December 2016 (EST)
RE: Hey![edit]
Ummm... not to be rude but... who are you? Do we really have reason to be friends, since I don't think I've ever communicated with you before?
(talk · edits) 22:01, 1 January 2017 (EST)
- My real name is a top secret. ® 16:12, 2 January 2017 (EST)
- That's not what I meant. Why should we be friends if you asked me to be friends without me ever communicating with you on this wiki (or anywhere, for that matter)?
(talk · edits) 14:12, 3 January 2017 (EST)- Because I am searching friends to become with. ® 14:19, 3 January 2017 (EST)
- Sorry, but I don't accept random friend requests. We would have to interact more. If you look here and here, you will see some examples of how I interacted with users before I added them as friends. Other users may accept a random request, but I'm just not the type to do it. I hope you make some other friends, though!

Image transparency[edit]
Hello, I was just wondering whether you added the transparency yourself to that Paper Mario artwork? Fan-added transparency is normally discouraged here.
Shokora (talk · edits) 03:25, 2 January 2017 (EST)
- Judging by Special:ListFiles/MarioMario456, MarioMario456 (talk) has a history of uploading these kinds of images and someone else reverting them. File:MKDD Double Item Box.png, I remember seeing a JPEG of (File:Mkdd double item box.jpg). I'm kind of with Shokora here with the JPEG to PNG part. Fan transparency I am iffy on. If the image is aliased (jagged edges that aren't smoothed like what anti-aliasing algorithms do which makes transparency harder), then it is fine (like File:Red Star.png). --Wildgoosespeeder (talk) (Stats - Contribs) 03:38, 2 January 2017 (EST)
- Because PNG is better than JPG. ® 06:39, 2 January 2017 (EST)
- Yes it is, but converting JPEG to PNG doesn't do anything to make it better quality. It often makes the file size larger than it needs to be. The PNG format preserves every pixel while trying to reduce redundancy of same pixels while JPEG takes shortcuts to trim down a file size; all cases where pixel detail is lost, even at the highest of JPEG settings. Converting JPEG to PNG just preserves anything produced by the JPEG. JPEG does have advantages that PNG doesn't. JPEG is great for photographs because the pixel detail lost will be barely noticeable while screenshots of games (and maybe some select art) benefit from PNG because most use solid colors or high contrast textures/sprites making the JPEG encoding more noticeable. --Wildgoosespeeder (talk) (Stats - Contribs) 16:09, 2 January 2017 (EST)
- Because PNG is better than JPG. ® 06:39, 2 January 2017 (EST)
- Exactly what Wildgoosespeeder said. And editing the edges of the image (such as fading them out to accommodate transparency) isn't really acceptable here. Thank you for your understanding.
Shops[edit]
Not sure if you know this, or if you're just making it as a joke, but Userspace Shops are not allowed anymore. A proposal passed a while ago banning them from userspace. 18:13, 2 January 2017 (EST)
- Why no longer allowed? ® 18:17, 2 January 2017 (EST)
- "[...]users have been spending inordinate amounts of time and edits on fictional "shops" that they run out of their userspace (messing about with stock, hiring other users, advertising, giving stuff away, etc. etc.). However, the Super Mario Wiki is NOT a social website, and these shops do NOT help us document all things Mario - rather, they distract folks from editing, clutter up the recent changes, and eat up our server space."
Userbox Templates[edit]
I don't think you're allowed to make user subpages with just a userbox in them (User:MarioMario456/Userbox and User:MarioMario456/Friend userbox). Mariowiki:Userspace says (sadly) that you can't have subpages just meant to be transluded to other pages. You could just simply put the userboxes onto your userpage without needing those page. For the friend userbox, you could put the code for your userbox onto your userpage so others (like me :D) can copy (See the top of User Talk:Mr Squid for an example).
By the way, I've added your friend userbox to my userbox tower! Mr squid Talk Edits 12:44, 3 January 2017 (EST)
Deletion of Images[edit]
I see you are going through Special:UnusedFiles and tagging images with {{delete}}. MarioWiki in general has a qualm towards deleting unused images. Usually, that tag should be used for image replacements (redone PNG replacing a JPEG) or found duplicates (two or more images representing subjects near identically). A better tag to use is {{delete-request}} for unused images. A link that it provides can stir up a discussion. --Wildgoosespeeder (talk) (Stats - Contribs) 14:24, 8 January 2017 (EST)
Admin noticeboard[edit]
Don't report users that have already been blocked before you report them. The issue regarding User:Lldiepwoc had already been dealt with before you reported the user. This is just an informal reminder telling you not to do it again. If it happens, an actual reminder might be issued. Thanks! – Owencrazyboy9 (talk) 11:30, 13 January 2017 (EST)
Banner reversion[edit]
Hello. Could you explain why you reverted the banner? There was a community consensus on updating the banners. In future, always provide a reason when reverting an image. Thanks.
Shokora (talk · edits) 16:12, 24 January 2017 (EST)
- Because I liked more the old version. As well, I only have 1 wiki friend. ® 16:13, 24 January 2017 (EST)
- ...Huh? In case you don't know this, this isn't the "MarioMario456 Website". This is the Super Mario Wiki, and as a wiki, it is run by several community members. The banner was changed because said members agreed it, along with the rest of them, should be changed. It doesn't matter whether or not you like the older one better, that's not up to you. Do not make a change like that again unless you have talked to the other users and have come to an agreement.
- Additionally, what does you having one wiki friend have to do with this topic? 16:26, 24 January 2017 (EST)

Reminder[edit]
Please stop Converting JPEG to PNG on the Super Mario Wiki. This isn't a warning, and it's possible that you made a mistake by accident or without realizing it; this is simply a reminder for your information. If the action continues, then a warning will be issued. Thanks for reading and keep contributing. If you feel this reminder was undeserved, you may appeal it. |
It just became against policy to convert JPEG to PNG. Please stop. If you have a source where you got the BMP, let me know. It needs to be reputable though, such as [1]. Then I will take it back. --Wildgoosespeeder (talk) (Stats - Contribs) 20:20, 1 February 2017 (EST)
- Online-Convert.com. I don't upload JPG's because decreasing the JPG's size makes the image pixelated, and makes the image worse and worse. That's why I always recommend PNG for photos. ® 06:58, 2 February 2017 (EST)
- Upload the JPEG as-is. Don't convert or resize. It's likely not to surpass the 10MB limit like a PNG could if it is high-dimensioned. JPEG to PNG doesn't increase quality but rather bloats file size. The only way to get past this restriction is to take your own pictures. I do this all the time when replacing screenshots. See my history. Just follow policy and you won't get notices like this anymore. Don't upload PNG if the source image isn't one (except BMP). --Wildgoosespeeder (talk) (Stats - Contribs) 14:48, 2 February 2017 (EST)
Re: PNG Monstrous[edit]
Not possible. The optimizers are separate executables designed for Windows. I would have to obtain the source code and port it, which is time-consuming. Also the source code for each optimizer is closed-sourced. --Wildgoosespeeder (talk) (Stats - Contribs) 14:55, 2 February 2017 (EST)
