Aww thanks for that comment, that was really sweet of you. ♥
As for the "similarities" between astronomy and astrology, oh yeah people get these confused like all the time. Astrology is the belief that believing how celestial giant rocks and giant balls of plasma millions to billions of miles away can have any influence to the people living here on earth. Astronomy is the real science that explains the reality of the universe. Orion is my favorite constellation too, as it's impressive and bright, and as you said, it houses the Orion nebula; this is the main reason I prefer the winter skies over the summer ones. Though where I live, it's a suburban area, so I can't see many stars in the sky, much less, the Orion nebula at all, but Orion at least is still very visible. For example, if I wanted to look for the Pleiades, I have to know exactly where it is to see a glimpse of some of its stars. I've seen pictures of the Horsehead Nebula as well, it's very pretty, mysterious, and awe-inspiring. It's hard to say what nebula is my favorite one, there's a whole bunch to choose from, such as the North American nebula, the Cat's Eye Nebula, the Eagle Nebula, the Twin Jet nebula, and so much more. As for other constellations I like, there's also the Big Dipper, the Swan, Libra, Scorpius, and Taurus. But yeah, those are composed of usually the brightest ones because those are the ones I only see. This sometimes makes me wish I lived in a dark sky area. I remember traveling through the Arizona desert at night, and the star view is something I will never forget. I've also traveled to the top of a hill far away from civilization to see a meteor shower as well, was a very beautiful night. My favorite planet? It's Neptune! I like the deep shade of blue, as well as some whiteness in its clouds. It could also house a Great Dark Spot, but that vanished quite some time ago, which is a shame.
To customize your signature, create your subpage: User:Boo X/sig. Then, add parameters you want into it. Make sure you follow these guidelines as well. When you're done, also change your preferences (steps outlined in the links I gave you) so that when you sign your comments, it shows up as {{User:Boo X/sig}} rather than displaying your raw coding.
