6 April 2024

  • Demo save data are not carried over to the full version. I know quite a lot of non-wiki players, me included at the time, wondered about it.
  • Make GoödFeël a redirect to Good-Feel if no one objects to it.
  • Upload and add a track layout comparison image for Wario Stadium (MKDS), though it'd have to be placed in a part of the page where it wouldn't stick out too much.
  • Basement cannot be entered in the demo. In the full game, it can be entered after The Castle of Thorns.
  • Add a "Controls" section to Princess Peach: Showtime!. Make mention of how only 4 buttons are ever used in the entire game, and that X Button and Y Button are never used at any point. Control instructions reflect the A Button/B Button setting.
  • Take a screenshot for sideways Sparkle. If there's one chance I've got to make myself "in" on the wiki, this is a good chance.
    • Sparkle quotes: "Fantastic.", "Lovely."
  • Game runs 720p, both docked and handheld. Framerate approximately 30fps.
  • The Castle of Thorns cannot be left during the first time the play is performed. Closing the game mid-level, will make the game resume from the Toad "I've got the tickets" moment.
  • Heart Charm increases HP from 5→8 with no negative effects, but the extra hearts are shown in green.

7 April 2024

8 April 2024

  • Add descriptions of the shapes of Figure Skater Peach, for the benefit of colourblind players.
  • Take Elgato screenshots for: Lobby Shop
  • Attempt a futile layout comparison for GBA Sky Garden, whose MK8DX layout is so different as to be all but unrecognisable.

9 April 2024

  • Sparkle Peach "Ran out of hearts" quotes: "No way.", "Oh no."
  • Get a screenshot of Peach's de facto blue dress during transformations.
  • Add pages: Sour Bunch Figure Skater (I still doubt that "Figure skater" could possibly be his official name, but sure), who of course happens to be moderately popular on Tumblr. One album photo exists of him, but I need pose screenshots from the second ice level as well.

11 April 2024

13 April 2024

  • I know there's at least one in-play area where Peach can also slide down stairs. Maybe the second Swordfighter level? Perchance.
  • The visible title differences I could find between Parisian and Montréalian French could be counted on 1 hand (Lobby Shop, Strike of Intuition, It's Showtime, Grape!), and User:Jdtendo would be likely to handle any further ones.
  • I presume comparisons between the microgames in Gamer (& Wario) contra earlier/later WarioWare games have been done almost a decade ago, but I feel curious enough to doublecheck.
  • Info on "3 vs 4" minimum VS Mode cups in Mario Kart 8 contra Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.

16 April 2024

  • Screenshot of Sparkle upwards attack, seemingly only possible in boss fights.
  • I remember JPN ruby top characters have been wished for in regards to Peach Showtime in particular, presumably (but not certain on) level names.
  • Music names for PPS levels seem desired, but I only personally want to add them if the stages only really have one song each.
  • Attempt to get an MP4 or WebM footage of Sparkle Peach dancing in levels. I'm not super-happy with GIF either nowadays.

24 April 2024

  • Although it's ended up controversial by the dozen on wikis I've been on before, whether it actually went splendidly, if minimodders thought I couldn't hold a spoon right, or if access was very hardlocked to "Admins only", it'd be within my skill scope to set up an AutoWikiBrowser trial run on Mario Wiki to convert ([\=]|//|\s{0,})http://(www\.|m\.)?youtube\.com/ to $1https://www.youtube.com/ Starting it very simple with one single type of conversion, and extraordinarily safeguarded to not convert Wayback Machine.
  • Make pages for: Junior Detective
  • As far as easy-to-suggest Proposals go, a proposal to replace Princess_Peach:_Showtime!#Plays with a "Main link" to Sparkle Theater hopefully can't be a too bad first attempt.

Second archiving

6 April 2024

20 April 2024

    • Wasn't Super Mario Advance 4 advertised with and sort-of proven to have Game Boy Player rumble?

23 April 2024

  • I've accidentally got myself into a both-ways "pronoun battle" (Usually I play "both sides" on e.g. Tumblr, but usually end up on the centerlines), so I'll be crosschecking Italian and Russian-language names for characters that have been contentious this week, as those languages have a reputation for very heavy gender-tensing of words.
    • Mighty Sparkla: Il suo / Ним. Strongly implies male, but is just short of 100.00% confirmation. Still more than Professor's and Mighty Sparkla's less than 40% confirmation in English.
    • Kung Fu Sparkla: No characters in that level, let alone the Sparkla, have any even the vaguest indications in Italian (except Hat Man's congratulation towards Peach). None of the characters even talk about the Sparkla beyond Stella's one-line intro. Combined with the carnival mask, the Sparkla may as well be a robot.
    • Patissiere Sparkla: Even if it were to not be mentioned in dialogs, I'd personally say it's not even a question that she's female, based on her entire design.

24 April 2024

  • Get 1× scale screenshot of the mermaid at the end of the Dribble & Spitz WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$! level. 🧜
    • Get one for the merboy too, presumably; although from what I've understood only for core Mega Microgame$ purposes at most.

1 May 2024

2 May 2024

  • Check filesizes for Wii savefiles that I have on my Wii U. Potentially WiiWare game sizes too, but the former is more important.
  • One of the sillier things I've thought of, but what would happen if SD cards were inserted into Nintendo consoles while the cards' infamous write-lock slider was set to On?
    • Turns out my new Wii U PSU has been stuck in transit for two weeks now, on a mere 500km domestic van route.

7 May 2024

  • It's been some 7 weeks now, so it's time to search for glitches people have found in Peach Showtime. I hope the glitches are glorious.
  • Add info to Stella ribbon about how the ribbons make up a large percentage of her visible body (I think it's a body, at least?).
    • I've got no proof at all in my theory that Stella has no body below her head; as such I cannot add info on that specifically.
  • Add a link on Sparkle Theater to Stella ribbon.
  • Add a "Cards" gallery subsection on E-Reader, considering how hard it is to find info on those cards anywhere else on the internet.
  • Test SMA4 rumble support on Wii U.

8 May 2024

  • Add ZL and ZR for 3DS to Template:Button
    • C-Stick
    • ZL Button
    • ZR Button
      • While it's perfectly fair to separate info on the Circle Pad's R stick from N3DS's C stick, I feel that would warrant creating an Circle Pad Pro Right Circle Pad icon as well. Shouldn't be overly hard for me or anyone else to do.

9 May 2024

10 May 2024

11 May 2024

  • I've learned enough about Agent Theets that a(n admittedly very short) page could be created for the PPS infobox's sake.
  • Compare PPS transformations' jump heights.
  • Peach can only move in eight directions and has no sneaking speeds by default.

12 May 2024

13 May 2024

  • The current Wii U Template:Button icons for L and R are, sorry to say, rubbish. So I need to make some new ones.

14 May 2024

  • ...Wasn't I supposed to add a timer screenshot for Super Mario 64 DS VS?

Third archiving

10 April 2024

  • Add full (though only with non-existing rows) translation tables to relevant pages that don't already have full tables, because, sure, it can't hurt. The changelogs of User:Mariuigi Khed in particular inspired me to add this on my to-do list.

21 April 2024

  • I need to get an animated image of how spectacularly poorly the Theets in Mighty Mission: The Rescue tried to "defend" themselves with the "swords".

24 April 2024

  • Mass-utilizing Template:Cite, as it seems to be a near-verbatim equivalent to Wikipedia's Cite Web, seems to be a possibly great move, but would be practically impossible to do on a large scale.

2 May 2024

  • Add more info about the whereabouts and phrases of the Hat Man (i.e. "Ribboner") to 1F and 2F levels.

7 May 2024

  • The stair physics in Peach Showtime's Sparkle Theater seem… strange at best.
    • I concluded that there was one scenario where the stairs would be Euclidean, involving a double-spiral setup that sort-of resemble those of carpark basements.
  • Get an AWebP of Hat Man dancing.
    • No stages on 1F-5F seem viable in terms of best resolution; needs to check BF instead.

11 May 2024

  • Sour Thieves are flying round robots with helicopting, who do not look like Sour Bunch at all. They are primarily associated with The Perfect Infiltration.
    • I've got the screenshots now, but writing the page in one go is unrealistic and difficult.
  • Figure Skater Peach can make non-skater Theets spin around, including the Hat Man.

6 June 2024

  • Since I happen to have a DS Rumble Pak, I can add a "Technical aspects" section to Super Princess Peach.

Fourth archiving

1 May 2024

  • Find a way to icon-ize certain Sparkle Gems' rows on levels' pages, to show that they are unavoidable to obtain in regular gameplay. As it happens, I have a theory to research, which holds that it's not humanly possible to not have enough gems to give Stella for Disco Wing and Light Fang in particular.

10 May 2024

  • Somehow add info on the legendarily narrow LAN network drivers that appear to be the same across Wii, Wii U, and Switch.
  • Add info on Switch's fairly poor support for USB-C headsets as well.

Fifth archiving

27 April 2024

  • I am NOT touching any ZIPs from those psychos at The Models Resource ever again, if it's a matter of life and death. Their guides are just "Use Blender, lol, lmao", and Blender is the most evil software ever made.

15 May 2024

  • Dutch:
    • A whole lot of "Profiles and statistics" → "In-game descriptions" for transformations.

27 May 2024

  • Add the in-game hint cards to the corresponding Game & Wario minigames' pages.

8 June 2024

  • Add yellow text to quotes in Princess Peach: Showtime! where they were written with yellow text in-game.
  • Combine quotes into each other if they were said in direct succession.

4 July 2024

I'm currently unsure if there's all that much more to do in my fields of specialising.

12 July 2024

  • Get a comparison for File:PPS Kung Fu Peach intro.png for YT vs in-game, as she looks more determined / pissed off in the in-game cutscene during the same pose.

14 July 2024

17 July 2024

18 July 2024

  • Instead of putting the Nintendo 3DS into sleep mode, the WarioWare Gold Alarm Clocks prevent the 3DS from going to sleep mode even if the lid is closed.
  • I have growing suspicions that the Switch's (admittedly miserable) "Joy-Con Left" camera button can help determine a game's native resolution, whether it'd be 1080p, 720p, or 900p. If yes, I can only hope Peach Showtime is higher than 720p, or I'd have "egg on my face" big time.
    • Turns out the button treats everything as 720p, even Tetris 99 that is provably 1080p.
  • Remove "Obtained" at the start of lines in PPS stages' Sparkle Gem tables if viable, so that the lines would instead start with e.g. "After", "When", "By", etc. and would also make the lines slightly shorter.

21 July 2024

22 July 2024

  • I should probably recommend to User:Porplemontage on letting the romanization rows retain the default Latin system fonts, but I am unsure how to formulate it.

6 August 2024

  • Get screenshots for: Stella posing when entering stages

13 August 2024

15 August 2024

  • It appears a non-zero number of WarioWare: Twisted! microgames' pages have their main images set to 250px wide, which should be changed to 240px to get pixel accuracy.
    • I presume that much the same applies to Touched! microgames whose images are anything else than 256px. The infobox template seems to handle up to 282px, I had set Gold images to 280px to get a small buffer space just in case.

16 August 2024

  • Make pages for, if viable: Boss rush (Replace the current redirection to Mario Party 9 in some way), Moai
    • Apparently Luigi's Mansion (Nintendo 3DS) had a "Boss rush" mode that wasn't even an actual boss rush, so the confusion with that mode would be too large for an article.
  • Compare 9-Volt's devices in Gamer v Sneaky Gamer. The latter one seems to be a 2DS, but I'm not sure.
