Trampoline is a Gymnastics Event that appears in the Nintendo 3DS version of Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games. The aim of the event is to score the most points by performing various moves on the trampoline. The starting record for this event is 41.000pt(s).
Gameplay[edit]
In this event, the player must perform a series of moves to score more points than their opponents, with the one with the most points winning. The player can perform a maximum of 10 jumps in the event. The players character starts jumping automatically, and the player must press the A Button when the two marker symbols overlap, with the amount of points being awarded manly based on their timing. Pressing A with perfect timing will award them the most points and a perfect ranking, with fewer for great timing whether early or late, fewer again for good timing and the least for bad timing or failing to press the button at all, which is marked as late. The player can also score more point by keeping their character in the center of the trampoline, with more points being scored for landing on the cross in the center rectangle. After each jump is completed, the player will be given their score for that jump. On the last jump, if the player has their character positioned near the center of the trampoline and presses the A Button with perfect timing, they will perform a special jump, which will score significantly more points. Once the final jump has been completed, the routine will be over and the player will be given their final score.
