Thorny Situation is a co-op challenge featured in Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, accessed via the Buddydome/Rabbolatory. It is located in the Spooky Trails category, and is part of the "Unhappy Trails to you..." campaign. This challenge is unlocked after clearing Citadel on the Hill. The objective of this challenge is to defeat twenty-two enemies. Completion of this challenge unlocks the Swamp Romp challenge.
Description[edit]
This is no garden variety encounter - squash a given number of enemies to win. Hint: Cover points can be demolished - some have lots of side effects.
Layout[edit]
The battlefield is somewhat large and in a "+" shape. There are three levels of elevation: the center is the highest, the surrounding area is of lower ground, and the four edges have the lowest. Pipes connect between the different elevations. The heroes all start in the center of the battlefield, where there are Bounce cover blocks. The middle elevation's left side has Ink cover blocks, and the eastern low ground has a Honey block. Four Spooky Ziggies begin at the northern side of the map, while three Spooky Bucklers start at the eastern side where the Honey block is.
Battle[edit]
The heroes must defeat twenty-two enemies to win. As the battle goes on, enemies will rise out of the ground. The enemies that rise up include Spooky Hoppers and Spooky Smashers. After twenty-two enemies have been defeated, the battle is won.
