Hello, and welcome to issue 212! It's a wonderful time to be alive! The Buffalo Bills are 8-2 with a five-game lead in the AFC East. The Oregon Ducks are the number-one ranked team in all of college football. And the SMU Mustangs, who are really living up to the name Southern Millionaire University, have in just ten months skyrocketed from relative obscurity in the ACC to 8-1, putting them in the driver's seat for the ACC Championship and a spot in the college football playoff. And all it took was SMU buying their way into the ACC in the current round of alignment by agreeing to take zero TV money, which they could do because, for the alumni of SMU, 200 million dollars is basically the same as zero dollars! Also, you can pay players now and there are no rules at all! You fools, you've awoken the sleeping giant that is SMU!
Now in terms of 'Shroom news, the 'Shroom Director Election is right around the corner, which means my reign of terror will be coming to an end because I will not be running for re-election! Strangely, that's not even the only election-related news I have this month! Because this month, the Awards Director Election will be held. Anyone who wishes to run for Awards Director may create a campaign on the election talk page! Finally for 'Shroom-related news, we have, courtesy of ScaryStar, one of, honestly, the coolest sections ever submitted to The 'Shroom. It's a custom-made instructional manual to celebrate the return of the Mario & Luigi series, teaching the basics of Mario & Luigi: Brothership. Everyone should check it out, 'cause it's really cool.

It's already November? It's hard to believe how quickly this year has flown by, but here we are again with another issue of The 'Shroom! I don't have too many things to announce, aside from a tremendous special we have celebrating Mario & Luigi: Brothership. Instruction manuals might be a thing of the past, but ScaryStar has crafted a custom one just for you! Additionally, we have the Awards Director Election happening, so if you're interested in throwing your hat into the ring, go check it out. Next month will be the the 'Shroom Director Election as well, where Shoey and I will not be running for a second term. What does the future of The 'Shroom hold? I can't say for sure, but it is food for thought. I won't delay your 'Shroom readings any longer though, so please enjoy Issue 212!
