Should we add that the song was featured in a Newgrounds video that is considered an important part of Newgrounds history?-Informant
- No. --Blitzwing 18:06, 21 February 2008 (EST)
- I have to say no because if we add Newgrounds info. then we will end up with a Super Mario Bros. Z article. We only add things that are really important and stuff: Newgrounds is an unofficial site. Paper Jorge ( Talk·Contributions)·
Look, if we want to have information on all things Mario, then we'll have to have articles about things such as Super Mario Bros. Z, which I was just watching the most recent episode of.-Informant

- Of course. Smash Bros. Z is fan-made, meanwhile the games are officially published and officially put in official stores. Paper Jorge ( Talk·Contributions)·
Well, if we DID have articles on things from Newgrounds, then we'd have articles on things such as "Mario and ADHD" and "It's Freakin' Luigi".-KP Blue 11:44, 27 March 2008 (EDT)
Well, whether it's the Newground animation or not, i think this article NEEDS to have the full song put on this page, because the Sonic News Network and Sonic Retro both have the songs from the games on the pages. See Here and Herefor my point.

I just noticed: if the article is to remain on the official stance, why are the other singers listed as enemies and Goombas? As far as I know, that's an invention of the video... Unless the album came with an illustration or cue or some sort saying that those were supposed to be singing. LinkTheLefty (talk) 00:39, 16 August 2012 (EDT)
Goomba singer?[edit]
Where is it said anywhere that it’s a goomba singing those parts of the song? Couldn’t it simply still be Bowser? Correct me if I’m wrong as I don’t own the album but from what I’ve heard online this is the only place where it says a goomba is the one singing. Seandwalsh (talk) 09:28, 1 September 2018 (EDT)
- The mentions regarding who is singing on here seems to be derived from an old Newgrounds flash animation (which is probably far more well-known than the actual book, to be frank); on none of the pages of the actual comic do Goombas even appear other than the cover. In fact, the only generic enemies in the book are Mechakoopas. Anyways, this needs cleaned up definitely. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 22:42, 3 November 2018 (EDT)
