The scarecrow is a character appearing in Mario Brothers Plumbing during the live-action segments of The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! While frequently appearing as a background object during the segments, he rarely plays a role in the segments; when he does play a role, it is minor, usually only having a single line. As such, not many aspects about the character is revealed.

History[edit]

"Mario Hillbillies"[edit]

In "Mario Hillbillies," while not having any lines during the segment, Mario and Luigi, about to leave their apartment to go on the fishing trip, stick a note on the scarecrow informing their cousins, Mario Joe and Luigi Bob, of their absence. When Luigi Bob tears the note off the scarecrow, he screams.

"Tutti Frutti, oh Mario"/"Tutti Frutti Mario"[edit]

In "Tutti Frutti, oh Mario," when Luigi wrongly assumes Clog to be the source of the scatting in his and Mario's apartment, Mario tells him to leave him alone, saying that it is not him, to which Luigi suggests that it may be the scarecrow. At this, the scarecrow responds that it is not him.

"Treasure of the Sierra Brooklyn"[edit]

In "Treasure of the Sierra Brooklyn," when Inspector Gadget attempts to demolish the wall behind the scarecrow in attempt to find the buried treasure hidden in Mario and Luigi's apartment, the scarecrow hurriedly tells him that there is no treasure behind the wall.
