Nintendo Entertainment Planning and Development (or Nintendo EPD for short) is a Japanese video game developer and a division of Nintendo formed from the merger of Nintendo Entertainment Analysis and Development and Nintendo Software Planning & Development in September of 2015. The company is the main developer behind the current games of the Super Mario franchise.
