The old man at the Mole Hunt[1] is a Shelltop that lives in Driftwood Shore. He appears in the game Mario & Luigi: Dream Team. He runs the Mole Hunt minigame. He does not allow the Mario Bros. to pass and reach to a nearby Dreampoint until they complete it. Afterward, he spends time making improvements to his game. When the Bros. come once again in search of the Driftwood Jellyfish Sheets, the old man forces them to play a minigame after the Fly Guy R thieves steal them. He tells Mario and Luigi where the Fly Guys R went after beating it a second time, and from then on the Bros. can play the game whenever they want. He charges 10 coins for each game of Mole Hunt.
After the second mandatory game, the old man tracks the player's highest scores. (He forgot the scores from the earlier games.) He gives away prizes the record reaches or exceeds certain intervals.
The old man can use Mole Mario as part of explaining the rules for Mole Hunt, though Luigi has to hit him with the hammer.
