Don't Look Back! is the third level of World 4 in the game Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island and Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3. The player has to deal with many Countdown Platforms in this stage, which disappear if Yoshi jumps off one of them. This level's playable Yoshi is the light-blue Yoshi.

Overview[edit]

Light Blue Yoshi starts the level in a plain, with a Message Block, a Koopa, and the first Countdown Platform, which can be used to reach an egg. Yoshi can hit a Winged Cloud in order to cause a circle of coins to appear. Yoshi can use the many colorful Balloons here to reach coins in the air, although the balloons slow down due to Yoshi's weight. He also finds a large bridge of Countdown Platforms, but it simply leads him to a wall. He must use the balloons to reach a platform in the sky. There are many Red Coins in this area, including one guarded by a Fly Guy at the very left. Yoshi also finds a Warp Pipe, leading to a bonus area, where Yoshi can turn into a Helicopter to collect the various coins, but he must be careful, as a Wild Ptooie Piranha tries to hurt him by spitting out Needlenoses. Progressing through the level, Yoshi has to cross an area with Countdown Platforms, a Turtle Cannon shooting Bullet Bills, and Koopas and Para-Koopas. He also finds Wild Ptooie Piranhas and Fly Guys holding Red Coins here. Yoshi must press a ! Switch, causing Dotted-Line Blocks to appear and lead him to a tulip. After this, Yoshi has to defeat a Wild Ptooie Piranha blocking his way, and then proceed to the next part. Here, Yoshi rides a large red balloon, allowing him to collect the many coins in the air, most of them being Red Coins. Near the Goal Ring, Yoshi finds three Fly Guys holding 1-Ups.
