Kannon (enemy)

Kannons are large cannon-wielding members of the Kremling Krew. Kannons resemble Klumps, another type of Kremling from the original Donkey Kong Country and Donkey Kong 64. Kannons attack by shooting barrels or kannonballs at the Kongs in whatever direction their facing, either forward or downward. Kannons can be found in several levels, but mostly caves. Despite being large and burly Kannons can be defeated with a simple jump on the head.
As mentioned above Kannons resemble Klumps a great deal, but whereas Klumps wear army gear (green helmet, grenade belt, etc.) Kannons wear more of a pirate ensemble such as earings, a large belt and large black hat with a skull and cross-bones on it.
Trivia
- Kaptain Skurvy, a character from the Donkey Kong Country animated series animated series resembles a Kannon.
- Like Kloaks it is unknown where Kannons keep their apparently unlimited amount of ammo.
