Add hybrid consoles subgroup

Brown Block This talk page proposal has already been settled. Please do not edit this section or its subsections. If you wish to discuss the article, please do so in a new section below the proposal.

Create hybrid console subgroup 4-1
Despite the fact that the the Nintendo Switch and the Nintendo Switch 2 are both a home console and a handheld console, I think that the Switch systems being placed in the home consoles subgroup of the Nintendo systems and add-ons group in this template makes no sense. The real solution is that we will be willing to add the hybrid consoles subgroup to the Nintendo systems and add-ons group and move the pages regarding Nintendo Switch and the Nintendo Switch 2, respectively, from the home consoles subgroup to the new hybrid consoles subgroup. That way, it will match not only how the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 sections belong to the Hybrid section of the list of games, but also how the Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch – OLED Model, and Nintendo Switch 2 pages belong to the hybrid consoles subgroup of the Nintendo consoles group in the {{consoles}} template from Bulbapedia.

Support: Add hybrid consoles subgroup and move Switch and Switch 2 from home consoles subgroup

  1. GuntherBayBeee (talk) Per proposal.
  2. SONIC123CDMANIA+&K(B&ATSA) (talk) Yeah, why not?
  3. Camwoodstock (talk) With the Switch 2 on the horizon officially giving us a total of two unambigously hybrid consoles, instead of just one, we don't see why not.
  4. Platform (talk) Per all.

Oppose: Keep Switch and Switch 2 in home consoles subgroup

  1. Tails777 (talk) I get the idea here, but I just don't see the reason. Among Nintendo consoles, the only ones that are hybrids are literally just Switch systems. It's basically a section dedicated to the Switch at the base of things and as a result, I just don't see a point in doing so.
