- “This is Creep Blue Sea. This one could be tough.”
- —Blue Merfle, Wario Land: Shake It!
Creep Blue Sea is the second level of Quiver Cliffs in Wario Land: Shake It! and the last Subwarine level in the game. The name is a pun on the phrase "great blue sea".
Layout[edit]
The level takes place in a beautiful, dim ocean filled with many blue rock formations and beautiful, rainbow-colored coral. However, it abounds with all kinds of underwater enemies. There is also a mini-boss at the central part of the level, which Wario needs to shoot the moving pink button to proceed, just like the one in Wavy Waters. Many spike bombs and Spiky Pillars also act as obstacles during Wario's quest underwater. In the end, Wario need to shoot three stationary pink buttons (similar to those of the Gate from Windbreak Bay) and avoid spikes and enemies before freeing a blue Merfle caged in a Merfle Barrel.
