Spinbats are purple bat-like enemies with orange sclera, blue inner mouths and tapioca inner ears from Wario Land: Shake It! They appear in cave or haunted mansion levels and hang from the ceiling waiting for Wario. When Wario comes near a Spinbat, They will spiral downward vertically, hurting Wario if he is unfortunately in it's line of fire; however. after they drop down to attack, they will get stuck into the ground, leaving them vulnerable to get defeated by Wario either him picking it up and tossing it as a projectile, keister crushing it, or shoulder ramming into it.

- A rare breed of enemy that lurks in caves and spooky basements, Spinbats get their name from their favorite method of attack: They cling to ceilings, waiting for Wario to wander past before quickly spiraling down at him. Avoid this fast attack, and the Spinbat becomes lodged in the ground, helpless for a short time! Be quick to dash into stuck Spinbats to put an end to their threat.[2]
