First appearance Yoshi's Story (1997)

A Propeller Lift is an object that is found in Yoshi's Story. It resembles the lower part of the Koopa Clown Car. Propeller Lifts appear in Tower Climb and Torrential Maze. When a Yoshi encounters Propeller Lifts, they actually do not attack the Yoshi. These objects just stay untouched in the air as they continue to run their propellers. When a Yoshi jumps onto a Propeller Lift, the object starts to power up as it starts to fly up with the Yoshi, though it automatically slowly tilts to one side while the Yoshi rides it. The Yoshi can manually tilt the Propeller Lift to move around. There are two limitations to the object. One limitation is that the Propeller Lift flies up only while the Yoshi is standing on the object; if the Yoshi jumps off, the object stops. Each time the Propeller Lift is jumped on and off, it slightly lowers to the ground. If it hits the ground, it disappears. Another limitation is that when the Yoshi hits a wall or ceiling while riding the Propeller Lift, the object disappears as the Yoshi falls down to the ground.
