Scram, Skedaddlers! is the third course of Pipe-Rock Plateau in Super Mario Bros. Wonder. As the name suggests, it introduces and is centered around Skedaddlers, as well as destructible peanut boxes[1]. It is unlocked by beating Piranha Plants on Parade, and its own completion unlocks Badge House in Pipe-Rock Plateau. It has a difficulty of one star and houses two Wonder Seeds.
In the Nintendo Live 2023 and kiosk demo, it is the second level instead, owing to Piranha Plants on Parade's absence.[2][3]
Layout
Right after the starting point, the player will encounter a Roulette Block floating over a Semisolid Platform, switching between a Super Mushroom and an Elephant Fruit. Right under it is the level's first Skedaddler, which will run away as the player approaches and shoot projectiles that will destroy the peanut boxes next to the platform. Above the next Semisolid Platform is a Wow Bud, which will cause three peanut boxes to fall from the top of the screen, potentially crushing the next Skedaddler. A pipe under the next batch of peanut boxes releases water when uncovered. Past it is a long bridge of Marimba Blocks, leading up to a short stretch preceding a formation of five pipes, three red and two green. The two leftmost pipes can be pushed to the right, rewarding the player with coins and a flower coin if pushed all the way. The Checkpoint Flag is found immediately past them.
Shortly after, the player will find a Skedaddler on top of a tree carrying a Wonder Flower. Touching it will trigger the course's Wonder Effect, an endless shower of shooting Super Stars falling diagonally from the top of the screen, allowing the player to break through several peanut box barricades. It features a 10-second time limit that resets every time a Super Star is collected. A Skedaddler carries the course's Wonder Seed, fleeing across a second bridge of Marimba Blocks as the player approaches. The Goal Pole is found shortly after, preceded by a staircase of peanut boxes and one last Skedaddler.[2][3]
Hidden Character Blocks
- A Blue Yoshi Hidden Character Block can be found at the start of the stage. It is located above the second Semisolid Platform, at the first row of it. It contains a flower coin.
- A Daisy Hidden Character Block, found just before the peanut box end staircase. It is four blocks away to the left, and five blocks higher than the dried Wow Bud nearby. It contains a single flower coin.
10-flower coins
- 10-flower coin 1: Held by a Skedaddler on the first tree above the first Marimba Block bridge.[2][3]
- 10-flower coin 2: Inside a secret underground room found by going through a red Warp Pipe under peanut boxes. The player can jump off of the Skedaddler's projectiles to reach the coin above[2][3] or use a well-timed jump from the far right.
- 10-flower coin 3: After the checkpoint, trapped in a tunnel blocked by a peanut box. It can be easily broken with a Koopa Shell or with the Elephant form.[2][3]
Enemies
- Skedaddler: 16[2][3]
- Koopa Troopa (red): 4[2][3]
Talking Flower quotes
- "Love that sound!" (floating above the first Marimba Block bridge)[2][3]
- "Ya found me!" (inside a peanut box, immediately after being freed)[2][3]

Trivia
- This level was originally planned to be in the spot Here Come the Hoppos occupies in the final game, based on the internal course filename being one number higher than that level despite coming earlier. A remnant of this can be seen in the reveal trailer for Wonder, with the level having the savannah aesthetic.
