First appearance | Princess Peach: Showtime! (2024) |
Variant of | Theet |
A Staff Member is a type of Theet in Princess Peach: Showtime! who is employed at the Sparkle Theater, where they provide assistance, welcome new guests, help out during the main game, and provide Rehearsal challenges.
They have a microphone earbud on their left ears, and wear red jackets with yellow inside ties. They only appear in the Sparkle Theater lobby, and never appear in any shows or bosses.
In the main game, most of them are attempting to help Peach out on non-freed floors, such as by analyzing various obstacles. One of them on 1F offers the Heart Charm badge or to take the badge off.
Locations and activities[edit]
In the post-game, and in some cases on the freed floors during the main game, the following Staff Member Theets and their activities include:
Rehearsals[edit]
- 1F through 5F: Rehearsal challenges. The Theets offering them always stand on the right side of the center stairs.
- 1F: Swordfighter Rehearsal
- 2F: Dashing Thief Rehearsal
- 3F: Cowgirl Rehearsal
- 4F: Kung Fu Rehearsal
- 5F: Mighty Rehearsal
1F[edit]
- To the left of The Castle of Thorns door: "Welcome to Sparkle Theater."
- Located at the bottom left near the entrance door in the intro scene.
- Lower left on squared carpet, jumping and waving: You seem well, Stella!
- Lower right on squared carpet: "Thank you for coming back!" (when returning after It's Showtime, Grape!)
- Upper left on center stairs: Offers Peach a Heart Charm, or to remove the Heart Charm.
- Shows up immediately after The Castle of Thorns.
- Middle of upper staircase: "Why is there a poster there?" (referring to the post-game rematches of boss fights)
2F[edit]
- To the lower right of the center stairs: "Wah! It's Peach! I'm so nervous..."
- Upper left of the center stairs, talking to a nearby sad Theet: "Your pal's missing? Have you checked other floors?" (likely referring to a Theet near the 3F elevator who has also lost their friend)
3F[edit]
- Lower right, angrily insisting that a nearby Theet dressed in blue stop running in front of them: "No running, please!"
- Near the upper staircase: "Another glorious day here at Sparkle Theater!"
4F[edit]
- On the right of The Case of the Rainy-Day Plot's door: "Come see this play"
- Walking around near the upper staircase: "We've got a lot of cleanup to do..." (likely referring to the aftermath of It's Showtime, Grape!)
5F[edit]
- To the right near the elevator, nodding along to a Theet dressed in blue who says, "I want to give one of the Sparklas flowers."
Actions not seen after the main game[edit]
1F intro scene[edit]
- In front of The Castle of Thorns door: "We're ushering you into our new swordfighter play momentarily. Thank you for your patience."
- Right, answering a Theet who wonders where the Lobby Shop is: "Allow me to show you."
- In front of the basement staircase: "Sorry, there's no entry past here."
1F[edit]
- Lower left: "Stella... do you know that's going on?"
- Lower right: "We can't access the upper floors..."
After 1F has been saved[edit]
- Lower left: Two Staff Members tell Peach/Stella "It's back to normal here, thanks to you!" and "Be careful out there!"
2F[edit]
After 2F has been saved[edit]
- Upper right: "Leave this floor to us!", encouraging Peach to make her way up to higher floors.
3F[edit]
- Upper center: Tells Peach/Stella "I hear you've been helping us. Thank you!"
- Lower center: "The Star Lift's inoperable, so please use the stairs."
The Case of the Missing Mural[edit]
Some of the museum employees in The Case of the Missing Mural share the same English profession name but are dressed differently from those in Sparkle Theater. They attempt to calm down Theets who are kept inside the museum, both in the entrance area and in the lobby.
