The Thousand-Year Door description | A shiny Whacka Bump obtained from Whacka. It sadly(?) cannot be eaten. |
The Gold Whacka Bump is a special item exclusive to the Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door remake on the Nintendo Switch. After initially clearing the Pit of 100 Trials, defeating Bonetail and making the Whacka at Keelhaul Key disappear, it reappears at the pit replacing Bonetail as the final boss on the 100th level. Mario receives the Gold Whacka Bump as a commemoration of the battle upon defeating the Whacka. Unlike normal Whacka Bumps, Mario cannot eat it and it serves purely as a visual reward for the completion of the trials a second time.
