Chocolate in Mario's Time Machine (PC)
First appearance Mario's Time Machine (1993)

The Chocolate is an item in the PC release of Mario's Time Machine. It is specifically Swiss chocolate. Charles-Gaspard de la Rive gives it to a time-traveling Mario in London circa 1831 as his introduction. He says that it is a gift from Geneva, his birthplace, and also mentions that Switzerland is known for its chocolate. Meanwhile, Sarah Barnard is interested in baking a cake for her husband, Michael Faraday, but she notices that she has run out of chocolate. Mario then supplies her with his Chocolate, and she gladly thanks him while saying that she plans to leave a slice of the cake for him.
