Images[edit]
Are we sure that the images are credible? They came as the result of a leak, but it's possible that it may have been fabricated. At this point, I would honestly say that the images are very likely to be genuine, but it still seems like we're jumping the gun. Hello, I'm Time Turner. 22:29, 23 May 2017 (EDT)
- According to this website, they contacted "Ubisoft sources" that confirmed the credibility of the leak. Same as this article. As far as official word from Ubisoft, that's as best as it gets at this moment, but personally, there's no denying the legitimacy of this leak anymore. Paper Jorge (Talk·Contribs)
I mean, I beleive the game exists, but I'd wish the wiki would steer clear from the whole "leaking" circus. --Glowsquid (talk) 23:24, 23 May 2017 (EDT)
- I'm on board with that. Hello, I'm Time Turner. 00:23, 24 May 2017 (EDT)
- I think the wiki should delete this page for now, until it's officially announced.

Remove the word "badass"[edit]
It is profanity and should not be tolerated. - Wariopig
- It's the title the game has given her, and we do not censor our content. Yoshi876 (talk)
- That appears to be an official description, so it cannot be removed.
- "Badass" is usually not considered profanity.
- There is no reason to remove it. --Super Mario Fan 67 (T•C•S) 15:09, 29 May 2017 (EDT)
- This is basically the same discussion that was repeated over and over again on the Bob Hoskins article, and it has always been the consensus that the wiki will not censor information. LB (talk • edits • forum) 15:48, 29 May 2017 (EDT)
A more cogent argument toward removing this (and all the other "titles") is that it's clearly an informal descriptor from an internal presentation not meant for public view and not like, an actual in-game designation. --Glowsquid (talk) 19:09, 29 May 2017 (EDT)
"Badass" is not a curse word; it means a tough, uncompromising, or intimidating person. So we should keep it. B ron 3000 (talk) 23:54, 29 May 2017 (EDT)
While it can be considered rather crass vocabulary, it is part of the official marketing. And, it's not nearly to the extreme as Bob Hoskins's "colourful" quote. (Not to mention the Wiki voluntarily threw out its family-friendliness on April Fool's when it didn't have to; this is official to some extent, after all.) MarioComix (talk) 23:58, 29 May 2017 (EDT)
- It's technically not official marketing at all. It's just internal press stuff for presenters not intended for public viewing, as Glowsquid has pointed out. Ray Trace(T|C) 00:34, 30 May 2017 (EDT)
- Oh, I see now. Fair enough. MarioComix (talk) 03:33, 30 May 2017 (EDT)
- Ok, but there should at least be a note that it can be considered profanity because kids have access to this PinkYoshiFan (talk) 09:28, 25 December 2017 (EST)

Blue Coin[edit]
In this video, after the Red Coins are collected near the end, it is mentioned that Blue Coins are in the game too. Should they be added to the "Items and objects", or should we wait for them to be shown before they are added? --TheFlameChomp (talk) 22:47, 18 June 2017 (EDT)
- In the same way that we added Topper in Super Mario Odyssey, you can add Blue Coins, adding the reference to the video in which they are mentioned.--Mister Wu (talk) 15:53, 22 June 2017 (EDT)
- Ok, thanks! --TheFlameChomp (talk) 16:37, 22 June 2017 (EDT)
Name in Chinese[edit]
I found the official Chinese name for this game on Ubisoft China's site. http://www.ubisoft.com.cn/news2/show/1393 Sorry for not including the source as I didn't know how. User: H.N.K.
- When you register here, you should see a page for newcomers with various suggestions and guides, I suggest visiting it often so you learn how to code here. Anyway, thanks for the source!--Mister Wu (talk) 09:18, 25 June 2017 (EDT)
Rabbid Kong page[edit]
Can I make a Rabbid Kong page? B to the RON! 02:19, 25 June 2017 (EDT)
Spawny[edit]
I don't think Spawny is an enemy. Is he? B ron 3000 15:26, 28 August 2017 (EDT)
- I too suspected that, but before the final game release it wasn't possible to be sure. Now we can change this.--Mister Wu (talk) 17:19, 28 August 2017 (EDT)
Bestiary[edit]
So... Was anyone planning on making the bestiary for this or...-- 19:53, 29 August 2017 (EDT)
- First of all, hey, glad to see you around again! :) Second, the game was just released yesterday. We're not miracle workers :P I'm sure someone will get around to it eventually. 11:17, 30 August 2017 (EDT)
- I've started working on the bestiary offline, keeping an excel sheet with all the stats. Just wanted to share a picture of the mock-up for the bestiary templates would look like. http://imgur.com/a/KLmTL

Models[edit]
Is it possible for someone to take high-quality screenshots of the models from this video to upload here? (T|C) 01:14, 2 September 2017 (EDT)
- I think it would be better if soemone with the game took screenshots of the models and uploaded them here in terms of quality and possibly also time, of course as last resort we can use the video as well.--Mister Wu (talk) 20:10, 4 September 2017 (EDT)
Bosses[edit]
I'd need to go back and check, but I don't think the game labels Bwario, Bwaluigi, or Lava Queen as bosses or midbosses.-- 12:58, 5 September 2017 (EDT)
- Confirmed, they are just regular enemies. In battles against a boss or midboss, the objective will be to defeat the boss or midboss. However in the two battles that feature these enemies, the objective is just to defeat all.-- 16:33, 5 September 2017 (EDT)
- I just assumed they were minibosses, because the pre-release "All-boss" video included that encounter. And they had the Subspace Emissary-style name drop thing.Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 17:05, 5 September 2017 (EDT)
- they have the intro because that's the first time they are encountered, and the all boss video maker could have been confused. Finally, they appear separately from the other enemies in 4-10, where every mid-boss is re- fought PinkYoshiFan (talk) 10:06, 25 December 2017 (EST)

Finishing up the skill tree[edit]
There are some things unmentioned in the tree.
M-Power boosts damage dealt for anyone in range
Itchy Feet increases movement for anyone in range
Super Chance guarantees criticals for anyone in range
Bodyguard decreases movement-based dmg reduction by 80%
Super Barrier carries a 10% dmg reduction in addition to the effect immunity
Outer Shell negates all damage from a single attack
The preceding unsigned comment was added by GearWax (talk).
- The Skill Trees for the various characters are yet to be made, what you're seeing should be the base stats which are a problem for me to complete: since I don't have the game, it's a bit difficult to find them as I have to look at various videos. If nobody who has the game can fill up the base stats, I'll see what I can do to complete them, with the Skill Trees coming much later.--Mister Wu (talk) 20:42, 9 November 2017 (EST)
Peach dash[edit]
peach actually has a standard dash, but I don't know the damage or how to edit the table. could someone do that pls? PinkYoshiFan (talk) 09:25, 25 December 2017 (EST)
- There's a lot of information missing, actually. Regarding the damage dealt by the dash, this is shown among the stats of the character select screen. Eventually, unless soemone adds all the base stats and the characters' Skill Trees or at least points to screenshots showing those, I'll have to look at videos and derive all the missing information, but I don't know when this will happen.--Mister Wu (talk) 19:09, 26 December 2017 (EST)
Versus mode[edit]
Could someone clarify if versus mode is local, online or both? PinkYoshiFan (talk) 09:34, 25 December 2017 (EST)
Story image[edit]
On the third story image, could someone please fix the caption's grammar? (I don't know how) PinkYoshiFan (talk) 10:00, 25 December 2017 (EST)
Addional references[edit]
I'd like to note that there are a lot more common media references not included thusfar. Can we add to the list:
- Tron references (Electron Primary for R.Peach, Master Control Secondary for Luigi, and I forget the name but a certain primary for R.yoshi)
- Minecraft reference (Cubic cactus in the hub world, with reference specifically to "Swedish", possible nod to the country of origin of that game)
- Splintercell reference (Sam Kingfischer Secondary for R.Yoshi)
- Back to the future reference (Secondary for Luigi, a flying train with a description that also references the film trilogy.)
Probably also more, but those are just ones that come to mind right now.
(My alias is EdgedPixie but I'm new and don't know how to sign this. Also don't think I have an account here either, so...)
Enemy Icons[edit]
Hello. I would like to ask, where did we get all of the enemy and hero icons in the Sprites section from? Were they ripped from the game, or edited from screenshots, or taken from somewhere else entirely? I am currently trying to extract textures from the game myself, but I am having a lot of trouble doing so, so any information regarding the icons is greatly appreciated. --Mahoroa (talk) 23:22, 7 October 2018 (EDT)
- Doesn't look like they're up on Spriter's Resource, so my guess is a direct rip from the game. Eldritchdraaks (talk) spend a lot of time uploading them all. 23:39, 7 October 2018 (EDT)
- Ah, alright. Would it be possible to contact the person who ripped them so that I can learn to rip textures myself? --165.91.13.132 00:07, 8 October 2018 (EDT)
Character ownership[edit]
Since the game was mainly developed and published by Ubisoft, do they own the original characters that were created for the game? Juju1995 (talk) 18:14, February 4, 2021 (EST)
- This is agreed upon in contracts that are not usually disclosed, so there's no way to tell.--Mister Wu (talk) 22:39, February 4, 2021 (EST)
Collectibles[edit]
Should a section about the list of junk in the Museum be added? I also think maybe a list of locations in the hub should be added. (This applies to M+R and the DK expansion. I'd be willing to get this going later, but I want to get an OK first. I'm not too clear as to what we include and what we don't.) -Mags (talk) 22:50, February 28, 2021 (EST)
Glitches[edit]
There is actually a glitch where in Sherbet Desert, if at a certain point, you can actually hop onto thorn bushes, but you can't get off.
The preceding unsigned comment was added by RabbidYoshi2 (talk).
Regarding the recent reveal of the sequel[edit]
Since that got revealed, does this mean we will refer to this as the "Mario + Rabbids" series in articles from now on? Maybe even make a "Mario + Rabbids series" page? Nightwicked Bowser 10:01, June 12, 2021 (EDT)
- Yes, that would be automatic grounds for a series page and considering the games part of a series from now on. (T|C) 11:33, June 12, 2021 (EDT)
- Unfortunately I never played this game and I'm not sure if I'll get the second either so I don't know enough to make the page myself. I'm asking because this is the first time this sort of thing has happened (what started as a singular game became a series) since I started editing here. Nightwicked Bowser 11:47, June 12, 2021 (EDT)
A sequel has been leaked.[edit]
A sequel has been leaked. Here's the link: https://www.nintendo.com/games/detail/mario-plus-rabbids-sparks-of-hope-switch/ I think that there should be a article about the Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle series. I also think that the game will be revealed at E3 2021. 107.146.244.150 14:25, June 12, 2021 (EDT)
- An article for the game has already been created. Nightwicked Bowser 15:00, June 12, 2021 (EDT)
That is true. E3 is back! 107.146.244.150 15:02, June 12, 2021 (EDT)
What[edit]
Why doesn't F.B have an article? Their a major character in the game and their named. Why don't they have an article? I'manumber1 (talk) 17:17, January 2, 2022 (EST)
- F.B. is just Beep-0 from the future and not a separate character. -- Too Bad! Waluigi Time! 17:26, January 2, 2022 (EST)
Oh. Darn it! I didn't know. I thought F.B was a separate character. I'm still playing through the game. Why am I so annoying?! I'll just shut up about all things Mario + Rabbids related until I beat the game. Ugh I'm such an idiot... I'manumber1 (talk) 17:37, January 2, 2022 (EST)
Glitch discovered[edit]
So I was playing a Co-op Challenge in Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle with a friend. It was a challenge in the desert campaign. So, we placed all of our characters at the top of the map for height advantages. The top of the map, however, is a very small (maybe 6x6 or 5x5) area and there were a few enemies at the top as well. So when one of our characters caught the Burn effect, it passed on to every Hero and Rabbid at the top of the map in the span of a few seconds. Then, for some reason, Rabbid Mario (one of our Heroes) teleported extremely far away from the playable map. It was so far away, I think it was the edge of the entire map. He began sprinting back to the playable map at very fast speeds while he had the Burn effect applied. The camera was panned out very far to see the whole map. I don't know if it is replicable but I believe it was caused by several entities repeatedly passing on the Burn effect to each other in a very small area. I thought it was a glitch worth mentioning.
- Did you catch the footage? The Switch has an opportunity to record the last 30 seconds or so being played. It's me, Mario! (Talk / Stalk) 19:55, June 8, 2022 (EDT)
Cataclysm Kerfuffle![edit]
I can't find any reference or even mention of this co-op campaign released with DLC pack 2 (the Ultra Challenge Pack) anywhere in the wiki. All eight solo challenges that came with the DLC have their own articles but the five co-op ones are entirely absent as if they don't exist.--Platform (talk) 10:21, October 21, 2023 (EDT)
Gameplay[edit]
>"The game is estimated to be composed of 35% exploration elements and 65% turn-based combat. There is also multiplayer, local co-op mode."
probably would make sense to source this; alone it just looks like an arbitrarily-made comparison that’d make very little difference when removed 169.139.19.108 (talk) 12:39, March 23, 2024 (EDT)
