The category's and the comments above make it clear that its premise is vague and confusing. Why is this category even a thing? You could argue that a lot of things are animate: Goombas, Koopa Troopas, Cheep Cheeps, and even Mario himself. All in all, this category is too vague to even exist, and should just be deleted.

Those have their own categories, which could probably stand to be subcategories of this. Anyway, your argument doesn't hold up. The whole point of the category is that they're species based on normally inanimate objects. Goombas, Koopas, etc. are not objects. 19:15, 28 May 2018 (EDT)

Some entries in this category are not appearing properly. Moe-Eye, for example, is a member of this category but does not show in the list. --157.21.14.65 12:43, September 2, 2021 (EDT)
