Bowser's Castle, referred to in overview trailers as Lava Castle,[1] is the third and final race of the Shell Cup in Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit. The obligatory Bowser's Castle track for this game features Fire Bars at almost every gate serving as obstacles, while tinting the screen a very subtle red to correspond with the theme of this course. The course icon emphasizes the presence of Fire Bars in this track. This race reuses the music from Mario Kart 8's Bowser's Castle for its theme. The course's icon depicts Mario's Noble Rider in a castle-like setting with various Fire Bars in front of it.
Gates[edit]
The gates in this race feature Fire Bars of different movement. Coming into contact with one stuns the racer very briefly before they may continue.
- Gate 1: One Fire Bar in the center, moving clockwise.
- Gate 2: Two Fire Bars, overlapping in the center.
- Gate 3: Two Fire Bars, each rotating differently.
- Gate 4: No additional properties.
