Luigi Runs the Nintendo 2DS Factory for a Day is a short video uploaded to Play Nintendo's official YouTube channel to promote the Nintendo 2DS. In the video, Mario leaves Luigi in charge of the Nintendo 2DS factory for a day.

The video starts with Luigi reading a message from Mario, titled "ATTN: HIGH PRIORITY", warning him not to input the incorrect code.

FROM: MARIO
TO: LUIGI
SUBJECT: NINTENDO 2DS MANUFACTURING CODE

Luigi,
It's-a me, Mario! I am leaving you in charge of the Nintendo 2DS factory. All you have to do is type the correct code to keep things running smoothly.

WHATEVER YOU DO, DON'T ENTER THE WRONG CODE!

YOUR BRO,
MARIO

After Luigi reads the message, a window appears, asking him to input the code "2DSLETSAGO". Luigi mistakenly types "2FGRGB" instead. The code activates a color swap, creating red and blue 2DS designs. An alarm sets off, causing everyone in the building to panic. The female voice says, "Color reverse sequence activated," multiple times, after which an alarm stops, and the voice says, "Nintendo 2DS color swap complete." Luigi then gets a new message from Mario with the same title and subject:

Luigi!
You are a genius! The new color swap for Nintendo 2DS looks great! Everyone loves it!

Your bro,
Mario
