Spooky Spike is a single-player minigame found in Mario Party Advance.

Introduction

Boo spikes a ball at the player, which they deflect from the ground.

Gameplay

The player attempts to dive to hit the balls Boo spikes to earn points. Boo spikes the ball in one of four directions: in front, behind, to the left, and to the right of the player. The player can see the shadows on the ground that come from the ball to tell which direction it is going. If the player gets a certain number of points, the player wins.

In Shroom City mode, the player must spike ten balls in 30 seconds to win. In Free Play, the player must earn as many points as possible; the minigame ends in this mode when a ball hits the ground.
