Slammer is a Duel minigame found in Mario Party Advance. Its name comes from the words "slam" and "hammer."

In the Shroom City mode, this minigame is played at the Bowser Toy Shop. After the player passes Bowser's Toad Force V quiz, he challenges the player to this minigame.

Gameplay[edit]

Both players start with five lives, and they must decrease their opponents' lives to zero by smashing them with the hammer. When a player is selected, they must either attack the opponent or defend from the opponent's attack, depending on the player selected. If the player themselves is selected, they can smash the opponent with the hammer by pressing A Button. If the opposing player is chosen, the player can defend by pressing B Button; a shield lowers onto the player and deflects the hammer, causing it to smash the opponent. If a player pushes a button too early, they are hammered instead. If the player defends right when the opponent is selected, the opponent is automatically smashed. The first player to hit their opponent five times is the winner.

Controls[edit]

  • B Button – Defend
