Reel Cheep is a single-player minigame in Mario Party Advance.

Overview[edit]

After casting their fishing line into the water, the player moves it to a shadow, where a Cheep Cheep bites the line. The player tries to reel the largest Cheep Cheep on to a scale before time runs out, and the Cheep Cheep has to be over a certain weight in the Shroom City and Mini-Game Attack modes. When the player catches a Cheep Cheep, they input a sequence of buttons, with heavier ones requiring more, but the Cheep Cheep swims away if the player is not fast enough.

The minigame title is a play on "real cheap," referring to something inexpensive.
