The Boot Car (also known by its full name, the Boot Car Type B) is a Goomba's Shoe-like vehicle that appears in Paper Mario: The Origami King. It is lent to Mario by the Toad's Automoboots mechanic at the end of Breezy Tunnel and is used to cross terrain in a shorter amount of time, though it can only be driven while leaving Breezy Tunnel and throughout the Scorching Sandpaper Desert. According to the mechanic, the Boot Car has an output of "150 Yoshis" (a reference to horsepower) and a top speed of "Golden Mushroom" (a reference to the Mario Kart series). Mario can use the Boot Whistle given to him by the mechanic to call the Boot Car to his current location.

The player controls the Boot Car by using leftstick to steer and holding zr to speed up. If Mario has high enough HP, he can defeat weaker enemies instantly without engaging in battle by driving into them while using the speed boost. While driving around in the Boot Car with Olivia and Professor Toad, the two occasionally exchange dialogue.

When Mario reaches Shroom City, he must park the Boot Car at the parking spot in front of the entrance, as it cannot be driven inside. The nearby Snifit tips Mario one coin if he parks on the spot perfectly.

A Collectible Treasure of Boot Car (No. 60) can be found by having Professor Toad dig into the glowing spot at the south-eastern ruins of the Scorching Sandpaper Desert.
