Talk:N64 Choco Mountain
Music
Could the background music for Choco Mountain have been covered for "K.K. Country", K.K. Slider's song, in the Animal Crossing games? "K.K. Country" has a very similar melody to that of Choco Mountain's. Torey (talk) 20:01, 16 May 2018 (EDT)
- It's just those seven notes that are similar; other than that, it's a completely different song. That doesn't make it a cover. Mario JC 20:23, 16 May 2018 (EDT)
Odd Sentence
The second paragraph of this article (as of 11:07, July 17, 2020) ends with, "While it is one of the shortest tracks in Mario Kart 64, this is deflected in Mario Kart DS". I have no clue what this sentence means, largely because the word "deflected" does not make sense in this context. I also do not own Mario Kart 64 or DS so I can't exactly check the games to see what the sentence is trying to describe. Does anyone have any idea as to what this sentence is trying to say so that it can be made clearer? (I assume it means that Choco Mountain isn't the shortest track of MKDS and the word "deflected" really should say "changed", but I don't think I should edit based on an assumption.) - This is really an awkward phrasing that I think is better off the article. The context the track appears in, combined with retro ones, in a different game engine and speeds, makes it extremely difficult to write comparisons of track length between the two games.
