Template:Item-infobox The Cursed Key is an item in Super Mario Maker 2, added in the April 22, 2020 update. It is a red Key that glows pink. If Mario, Luigi, Toad, or Toadette pick it up, a Phanto appears and chases after them, damaging them if touched. It can even damage players who are not carrying the key. It is only available in the Super Mario Bros. style.
