The 'Shroom Spotlight

Hello readers of The 'Shroom, and welcome to Spotlight. Spotlight is a community project which aims to fix up the articles on the wiki which have issues. These issues can range from poor writing to a lack of images, to even just needing a credible source.

Welcome to June's edition of Spotlight. And this edition comes to you from a very happy Yoshi876.

And the reason I'm happy is because we have completed every single focus that we set out to achieve last month. I really wish I could give you guys more rewards than just a pat on the back and a virtual thank you, but your hard work shows how important Spotlight is, and how dedicated our readers are. WigglyWiggler (talk) created Pyramid Land, removing the last red link in the template for the The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! (animated episodes). An IP address, 162.231.136.93 (talk) added the missing hole information for Lakitu Valley, Luigifan312 (talk) expanded and heavily improved the writing on Lakeside Park. Mario jc (talk), one of our wiki bureaucrats sourced the name for Arijigokun on Spiny Desert, the name comes from the official Japanese website for Mario Party 3. We got images from Bye Guy (talk) and WigglyWiggler (talk) for Shy Guy Stack, and Toadette the Achiever (talk) expanded out the Yoshi's Crafted World section of the article so it's no longer a stub. And finally, Revilime (talk) added shadows to File:Grand Goomba 64.png, finishing off our lovely six.

Hopefully we'll keep this momentum for June's focuses!

And now onto this month's focuses:

Article Category Focuses
More Shocking Than the Next Episode?
Wanted article
What could be more shocking than what follows this episode? I honestly can't say, but it's shocking that we don't have an article on this episode from Wario: Master of Disguise.
Piranha Grove
Stub article
Summer is here and all manners of plants are blooming. However, Piranha Grove seems to be quite possibly dead given its lack of information. I don't think an uproot is needed here, but maybe watering in some information on the level's layout might turn it into a beautiful flower.
Hot Lips
Rewrite and expansion required
Considering I've died a couple of times to these enemies I know they feature in Yoshi's Island DS, but you wouldn't know it by looking at this article. Mention what levels they appear in, and normal characteristics and you can treat yourself to a nice refreshing drink afterwards.
Brawl Doll
Citation needed
This might be a bit of a creepy focus for a non-Halloween themed section, but the sooner it's fixed the less we have to think about it. Pre-release footage and screenshots depict this boss as red, but what we need is either one of these pre-release videos or a trusted magazine with a screenshot of this cherub as red not blue.
Water Land
Articles that need more images
We're only allowed to cool off in the water here after we've added screenshots of the two Hammer Bro. levels that are in this world.
File:ToadBiddybuggy.png
Image quality requested
Where this image was captured at the start of the race everything appears to be quite blurry and rushed, if we're aiming for a screenshot of the starting line maybe it'd be a bit better to have waited for things to slow down a little, like on the second lap.

Now just before I leave you, I'd like to tell you about the NIWA Spotlight. This is a project being run by Alex95 (talk) and can be found in this paper's Pipe Plaza section. Much like this Spotlight, the NIWA Spotlight aims to fix up articles across various Nintendo franchises, that are all part of our NIWA group. I'd also like to tell you about unimplemented proposals. There are currently six, which was one less than last month, that need to be implemented, some of which date back to 2015, so think of this as a continuous Spotlight goal until they're all completed.

Thanks for tuning in to the newest edition of The 'Shroom Spotlight! Be sure to turn up next month, where we'll be reviewing the progress on the above focuses. If you have any questions or suggestions about this month's set of the article focuses, then please get in touch through the dedicated topic if you have a forum account. If not, then please contact myself on my wiki talk page, but you are far more likely to get a quick response if you go through the forums. You are also welcome to make suggestions on what you think we could focus on in our next edition. Thank you, and good luck!
