Template:Species-infobox Hatchī[1] are a species of bee-like enemies from Donkey Kong Jungle Beat. They do not attack Donkey Kong, but if the ape touches them, he will get hurt. If the Kong claps near them, they will shrink and become harmless, flying around spastically. By doing so again, they will be defeated, providing DK with one beat.
Hatchī mostly appear in groups, and dwell in various levels throughout the game.

- An unused Hatchī model under the name "Bee" exists in Super Mario Galaxy.[2]
- Choppahs from Super Mario Galaxy 2 may have been inspired from Hatchī.
