Latias & Latios

Template:Character-infobox Latias and Latios are both Legendary Dragon/Psychic-type Pokémon introduced in Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire Versions and both known as the Eon Pokémon. Latios is blue and exclusively male, while Latias is red and exclusively female. As of Generation VI, Latios and Latias are capable of Mega Evolving into Mega Latios and Mega Latias, respectively.
Both Pokémon appear in Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U as Poké Ball Pokémon. When one of them is summoned, it flies off-screen and both fly diagonally across the screen one at a time to strike opponents with Steel Wing multiple times.

Eon Pokémon. There are only female Latias and only male Latios. If they sense the presence of a human or an enemy, they will generally use the light-bending trait of their down coats to make themselves invisible. They use telepathy to speak to companions.
