Should we include the date that the pages become FAs? Phoenix Rider

Minimum Posting Requirement

How long should a FA stay up on the main page, at the minimum? Wa Yoshihead.png TC@Y 11:17, 2 January 2007 (EST)

I say one solid week. -- Son of Suns

Mario Comments

Where did all the Mario comments go? -- Son of Suns

They disappeared after this edit (Though I don't think it was intentional) And when I restored them, it created a duplicate Mario section. It did a similar thing with King Boo earlier, too. --Yoshi626File:Egg.PNG 23:29, 9 January 2007 (EST)
I noticed the same problem with Mario Kart DS archives, and retrieved them from an earlier version. It may be the intense size of the page – I am considering creating a sub-page for the archives to lighten up the workload, if the problem persists, we may have to act like Wikipedia and put each nomination on a sub-page. Wa Yoshihead.png TC@Y 16:49, 10 January 2007 (EST)
I see that the same happened again inadvertently – I might make the moves a priority. Wa Yoshihead.png TC@Y 15:04, 11 January 2007 (EST)

This happened because the page is being edited too much within one timeframe. In english, the page is so active that it has some weird glitch and cuts out/duplicates information after edits. Don't worry, it has nothing to do with the page's size. Yes, this can be avoided by created sub-pages for every nomination.Knife (talk)

Maybe the wiki is being edited too much as a whole (the job queue is overloaded), but I don't think the single page is being edited too much at once. Wa Yoshihead.png TC@Y 13:26, 15 January 2007 (EST)

DK wiki

Should DK wiki articles be able to be nominated? - User: Ultimatetoad.

Not on this wiki. --Steve (talk) firefox_27x15.png 18:57, 14 January 2007 (EST)

Well then, should the DK wiki have a FA page too? - User: Ultimatetoad.

Not ready yet. Not any FA quality articles yet (I think). Plus, the wiki needs more users before FA articles can be nominated. -- Son of Suns

O.kay. I was jsut thinking. In my opinion, we have 1 FA quality article, King K. Rool - User: Ultimatetoad

ENOUGH.

I am moving nominations to sub-pages to avoid anymore removal of content. During this time, the page is protected. Wa Yoshihead.png TC@Y 13:53, 15 January 2007 (EST)

I was about to comment on that. Please don't think I did something wrong, though. I didn't mean to remove Waluigi's opposition, nor did I mean to create 3 discussions about Waluigi. (By the way, the first discussion of Waluigi is the current one. The other two must go.)Waluigi Freak 99 13:56, 15 January 2007 (EST)
I am aware it is no one's fault. Wa Yoshihead.png TC@Y
The caps had me worried for a bit.Waluigi Freak 99 14:00, 15 January 2007 (EST)

Waluigi

Should Waluigi have a different date next to his nomination? -- Son of Suns

I don't know. Maybe. Tadaa!2.gifPlumber, darkgreenTadaaa!.gif

I feel...so bad right now...

I can't believe I missed Daisy being an FA for 4 days. That's basically...forgetting an obligation to this wiki. It should have been up, I forgot, it's not SoS's fault for not being here...thanks to Fixitup for updating the FA page, or it would have been still forgotten...I feel like throwing up...next duty is to put Daisy on the Main Page.

Apologies to everyone for this terrible delay. Wa Yoshihead.png TC@Y 20:02, 4 March 2007 (EST)

That's O.K., don't feel to hard about it. Everyone forgets things once in a while. By the way, am I the only one who thinks Son of Suns Opposition against Wario is outdated? I think everything he said is covered and Wario is now FA-Quality. Tadaa!2.gifPlumber, darkgreenTadaaa!.gif

I will give a reevaluation of Wario soon (less than a week), however, after glacing over it, I will still oppose. The article is not organized very well. The other events section should be summarized in a paragraph for each series, instead of a sentence for each games. Stats and the like should be placed in the Other Information section. The Personality section should not be subdivided so many ways. We need coherent paragraphs, not one sentence per section. -- Son of Suns

Red Links

Why does the article have to have "A fair amount of red links"? Just because something doesn't have an article, It doesn't subtract from the content of the article in any way, besides making it not as "attractive". besides, if we remove all red links, some other pages might become orphaned, like in the Yoshi's Island DS article. If we took away those lists, most/if not all of the stages with articles would become orphans. the same applies to other pages out there. Max2 (talk)

The red links in the Yoshi's Island DS article are supposed to be created, not removed. The same applies to other articles. --KPH2293 17:53, 15 April 2007 (EDT)

I think the rule means that the red links have to make sense, not link to unneeded articles.
I am Confused 21:19, 19 April 2007 (EDT)

yes. Max2 (talk) but no.

Toad FA

Should the Toad FA at least be in the queue? It has no oppose for like a week.

No more peer reviews

After the peer reviews feature has been removed, how will articles now be nominated? Completely after the old system? Or will there be changes? - Cobold (talk · contribs) 06:01, 7 June 2007 (EDT)

Obviously asked this before seeing this. This page is in hiatus until that system starts if approved. Wa Yoshihead.png TC@Y 16:22, 7 June 2007 (EDT)

Jump Starting The FAs Again

Moved to Mariowiki:Proposals/Archive#FAs Reback

OK guys, I'm going to implement the new system, inspired from Uncyclopedia, this coming week. Eventually the old system will come into play at the end, but qualifications will be necessary before being able to be nominated. Wa Yoshihead.png TC@Y 23:46, 15 July 2007 (EDT)

So what will happen exactly? I guess many are confused now. - Cobold (talk · contribs) 06:55, 16 July 2007 (EDT)

Reviews

How do we keep track of reviews? And what happens when two reviewers give an article a high score? ♥♪!? 17:18, 28 July 2007 (EDT)

I think its explained in MarioWiki: PAIR to some extent. -- Sir Grodus
