VB Mario Land

Template:Infobox Template:Seealso VB Mario Land, also known as Mario Adventure, is a cancelled Mario game that was originally going to be released for the Virtual Boy. A single-level playable demo was unveiled at the Winter Consumer Electronics Show 1995 in Las Vegas.

The game was to be a two-dimensional side-scrolling game that would also use three-dimensional perspectives, such moving between the background and foreground of the level. It would star Mario as the main character, using classic Super Mario Bros.-style elements such as Warp Pipes, Koopa Troopas and ? Blocks. Though not much about VB Mario Land's story was revealed, a Wario-like figure which functioned similar to a Thwomp was seen in the playable demo. In certain areas, an overhead view was displayed, much like the The Legend of Zelda series of games.

A three-dimensional version of Mario Bros. was mentioned to be implemented into VB Mario Land as a minigame, though this was later released as a separate game titled Mario Clash.
