VB Mario Land
Template:Infobox Template:Seealso VB Mario Land[1], also sometimes referred to as Mario Adventure[2], is a cancelled Mario game that was originally going to be released for the Virtual Boy. A single-level playable demo was unveiled at the Winter Consumer Electronics Show 1995 in Las Vegas.[3]
This follow-up to Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins was to be a two-dimensional side-scrolling game that would also use three-dimensional elements. It would star Mario as the main character. Though not much about VB Mario Land's story was revealed, an early demo showed Mario battling Wario.Template:Refneeded The game would make use of all the Virtual Boy's capabilities, with Mario being able to enter the background of various levels. In certain areas, an overhead view was displayed, much like the The Legend of Zelda series of games.
A three-dimensional version of Mario Bros. was mentioned to be implemented into VB Mario Land as a minigame, though this was later released as a separate game titled Mario Clash.[1]
