World 5-1 is the first level of World 5, in New Super Mario Bros.

Layout

This level has snow from trees that can fall on Mario, as well as deep snow in which Mario can barely jump if he gets stuck in it. The level begins with a Snow Spike and several Goombas. Shortly after this, Mario can get the first Star Coin. To receive the second Star Coin, the player will have to jump on a Koopa Paratroopa. In order to receive the third Star Coin, the player may hit a block that, when hit, will grow more blocks, aiding Mario the ability to retrieve it. After avoiding more falling snow and more enemies, Mario reaches the Goal Pole.

Star Coins

  • Star Coin 1 - Jump on the nearby block and then jump off it to get the Star Coin.
  • Star Coin 2 - Hit the Flying ? Block when it is near the coin to create a platform to jump on.
  • Star Coin 3 - Hit the Block Stack to make it grow tall enough to reach the Star Coin.
