Image help
Good job on uploading this image, but let me give you a few tips.
You uploaded that image without giving it a name; it just showed up as "Image.jpg". It's very important that every picture you upload, no matter what, has a name, otherwise we won't be able to tell what the image is for. If a picture is just called "Image.jpg" but it's a picture of some obscure character, we wouldn't know what it's for, or from, right? It just causes unnecessary confusion. I renamed your image to "MK8BlueShellTrophy.jpg" for you, so you don't have to worry about that, but keep this in mind the next time you upload an image.
Another thing I wanted to talk to you about is image size. The pictures on your userpage are very large, but there's a simple way to make them smaller. When you just type in the name of a large image (for example, ), the resulting image...
...is very large. But, adding a simple code to the file link can make it much smaller. Let me show you.
Just typing in results in the large image above. But, adding the code "|300px" after the image type (in this case .png) would result in...
...a much smaller picture. Let me show you the exact way to do it.

example;
Now, the 300 part doesn't have to be just 300; it can be any whole number smaller than the full length or width (whichever is bigger; in this case, 1464) of the picture. Smaller numbers = smaller pictures.
I hope you find this information useful, and send me a message if you have more questions. Thank you, and welcome to the wiki! LB (talk • edits • forum) 03:17, 8 March 2014 (EST)
- Wow, ok. I'll do that tommorow. Thanks for the tips. And I didn't notice not nameing the Blue Shell Trophy, so double thanks. - Ninelevendo, the Blue Lightning! (talk)
Scrolling pictures
Adding a scrolling picture is actually much easier than it looks. This is the code you have to use;
<div style="position:fixed; top:###px; right:###px;">Put in whatever you'd like, such as an image or text, here.</div>
Now, at the parts where there's 3 #'s in a row are where numbers are supposed to be; it means how many pixels away the topmost and rightmost parts of the picture are from the top and right edges of your screen. You could also change "top" to "bottom" and "right" to "left"; then it'd be how many pixels away from those edges.
Message me if you have more questions; I'm glad I can help! LB (talk • edits • forum) 02:44, 12 March 2014 (EDT)
Your personal image
I've noticed that you've been trying to make your personal image transparent; however, your image is in .jpg format, which doesn't support transparency. You need to convert your image to .png format, then it'll be transparent. LB (talk • edits • forum) 02:14, 14 March 2014 (EDT)
- Ohhhh....... Right... Thanks again. I'll see if I can make it png. - Ninelevendo, the Blue Lightning! (talk)

Remix
No, don't smart-mouth me into thinking you know exactly what a remix is. You're thinking of the layman version of remix; the version where it's a completely new recording of music. It's actually called a "cover version". Please refer to here and here before you go argue with me what a remix actually is. Ray Trace(T|C) 14:55, 24 March 2014 (EDT)
- So, I do the normal thing by talking and saying 'remix' instead of using the term 'cover' that not many people understand. Just because I used the casual term for cover doesn't mean you can get angry at people and call them idiots. I haven't seen anything positive come from your posts yet, and it's getting close to Cyberbullying for my liking. Please talk a little bit more nicely. - 17:43, 24 March 2014 (EDT)
- Assuming that "not many other people understand" doesn't make the term any more technically correct either way or another. A term being considered "layman" doesn't make it any more correct than a technically correct term. And since when did I call you an idiot. I simply stated that it's not a remix, then you decide to argue with me saying, "yes it is a remix", thus that's how you provoked me into saying the response. And are you seriously ----ing accusing me of cyberbullying? I don't get angry for no reason, and you making these sort of assumptions, especially accusing me of being a cyber-bully and also saying that "nothing nice comes out of me" is a surefire way to piss me off. Ray Trace(T|C) 19:37, 1 April 2014 (EDT)
- You just need to remember that real emotions can't be read from words on a website. The only emotion you've seem to admit, in my opinion anyway, is anger. Plus if everybody else took into account that the guy who made the original post was referring to the 'layman' term of cover to remix, just go with it. You don't need to be 'Miss Perfect' when it comes to discussions. - 19:50, 1 April 2014 (EDT)
- But it's NOT correct. That's a fact. I'm not trying to be nitpicky here: encyclopedias are supposed to give reliable information. WIKIPEDIA uses the word "cover version" to describe contemporary recording of older music. Professional artists use the word "cover version" to describe the same. The word "remix" is used in professional song titles which the music is essentially the same but with an added tempo or beats. I didn't even address it directly: I was merely informing the poster in terms of sub headers that it technically isn't correct; my problem is that you simply just refute my claim thinking that you understand what I'm talking about and that I'm blatantly wrong, even though I have [researched the term and had a discussion with the admins, with it being part of the official policy page. Attempting to argue further at this point isn't helping your case even further, and accusing me of being "Miss Perfect" when all I've been trying to do is inform people the actual correct usage that professionals use is even hurting your argument. Ray Trace(T|C) 20:06, 1 April 2014 (EDT)
- That still doesn't mean that you say I'm dumb in the fact that you assume I don't know things. You only need to be a perfectionist when something's wrong on the article, not the discussion. Let's end it here. This argument isn't getting the Wiki anywhere, so it's pointless. - 21:15, 1 April 2014 (EDT)
