Final Destination
Final Destination (終点, Shūten) is a stage in Super Smash Bros., Super Smash Bros. Melee and Super Smash Bros. Brawl. It has absolutely no features, except for the large platform; so the combatants are not bothered by the stage in any way. The only way to get there in Super Smash Bros. was to battle Master Hand. It reappeared in Super Smash Bros. Melee as an unlockable stage, and is still where that battle against Master Hand is held in classic mode. The player may also battle Crazy Hand, if the right conditions are met. The battle is also where the player battles Giant Bowser in Adventure Mode. If the right conditions are met, the player will be able to battle Giga Bowser afterwards. In Super Smash Bros. Melee, the stage can be unlocked by beating the event match "Showdown."
In Super Smash Bros. Brawl, the stage is available from the start. Like in the past titles, it is a simple platform. In all three games, the Final Destination floats all around the Super Smash Bros. World showing all the different landscape of the world. In the games, the places that the Final Destination travels through have changed.
Final Destination will be returning in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U, with a different look just like it did for previous incarnations. It should also be noted that every stage has an alternate Final Destination incarnation. Also, in a new mode of Online Play, the Glory Mode, these versions of the stages will be the only stages available.

As time passes on this stage, the level appears to travel through a wormhole from the imaginary Super Smash Bros. Melee world into reality. You move through a cloud-filled sky over a vast mountain range, then into a deep-space vista of dark blues and purples. The scenery is as real as you get in this fantastical world. |

Trivia
- The ground pattern of the original Final Destination stage is somewhat similar to a Maya calendar. This supposed association may have something to do with the cataclysmic prophecies implied by periodic cycles established by the Mayan civilizations.
- Final Destination does not look the same in any of its incarnations, and it along with Battlefield, are the only stages to have trophies.
