Missile Teds are a subspecies of Torpedo Teds that first appeared in New Super Mario Bros. U. Missile Teds inhabit the water and look almost exactly like regular Torpedo Teds, though they're red instead of black. Much like Missile Bills, Missile Teds follow the player around until they finally explode. They are launched by a red variation of Skull Boxes.

Missile Teds are found in the level The Mighty Cannonship in Soda Jungle, where they are launched toward Mario. They also appear in the first battle against Bowser Jr., where the player must direct them towards Bowser Jr. three times in order to defeat him. Template:BoxTop
