Template:Roombox The Conservatory (Japanese: 音楽室 Music Room) is a room cleared in Area Two of Luigi's Mansion.

After procuring the Key from Shivers in the Butler's Room, Luigi gains access to the Conservatory, where he finds many instruments. Sitting at the grand piano is The Beautiful Pianist, Melody Pianissima. However, she is invisible to Luigi. The plumber notices, however, that when he taps the instruments, they start playing a song. Melody is impressed with Luigi's "musical talent" and offers to let Luigi hear a song played on her piano. After she plays her song, she asks the green-garbed ghost hunter one of two questions. If Luigi answers the question correctly, Melody makes her sheet music fly at him. Luigi avoids the projectiles and goes straight for Melody herself. With the beauty safely stored inside the Poltergust 3000, the Conservatory brightens and Luigi receives the Key to the Dining Room, his next destination. There are many pictures of a ghost playing the saxophone on the walls. In the very northeast corner of the room, there is a small dresser with a flowerpot on top.

Instruments

The Conservatory houses a variety of musical instruments. Each can be activated, causing a tune to be played (the only exception is the grand piano). The instruments consist of the following:

  • Horn
  • Harp
  • Cello
  • Three kettle drums
  • Xylophone
  • Grand Piano
