Neville
Template:Portrait-infobox Neville, the Bookish Father (Japanese: パパーラ Papāra) is one of the Portrait Ghosts that Luigi encounters in Luigi's Mansion. He also is the husband of Lydia, and father of Chauncey and the twins Henry and Orville. His usual pastime activity seems to be reading books, and he is keeping a baby care diary.
At one point in the past he was captured by Professor Elvin Gadd and turned into a portrait, but Neville was eventually set free again by King Boo. His portrait number in Professor E. Gadd's gallery is 1.

- Neville's name could possibly be a reference to the book The Neville Reader.
- Neville is the only portrait ghost that has red hair (discounting King Boo's Bowser suit.)
- Neville is one of only two portrait ghosts with facial hair. The other one is Vincent Van Gore.
- Neville has a book titled "Mario Story." However, the Paper Mario reference was lost in translation.
