I'm not sure if this is possible but could lines be added to seperate the courses from the different games. I feel the template is a little too chaotic now... -- Son of Suns

But they're all lined up perfectly by column. What seems chaotic to you? Wayoshi ( T·C·@ ) 17:16, 17 September 2006 (EDT)
I read from left to right unless indicated not to. As such, my eyes drift from one column to the next, instead of reading down. I do read down the column, but my mind still tries to connect one column to the next, as there is no break between words. It's not a big deal, but something that we should take into consideration. -- Son of Suns
Yes, the template looks kind of ugly now. I liked it as it was before. -- Waluigi Freak 99 07:28, 19 September 2006 (EDT)
Is that better? I had complaints about the size of the template before, and this is more organized. Wayoshi ( T·C·@ ) 16:37, 19 September 2006 (EDT)
Looks a lot better to me. Thanks Wayoshi! -- Son of Suns
Yup, awesome. HK-47 w4z h3R3 at 17:06, 19 September 2006 (EDT)

Ummmm....the template looks really messed up. Could someone fix it??? -- Son of Suns

Mario Kart Arcade GP

Why aren't the Mario Kart Arcade GP race courses on the template? Paper Jorge ( Need to tell me something? Go to my talk page.·Contributions·) 13:58, 23 October 2006 (EDT)

I think we should have one tracks template for each game instead of trying to fit all the tracks on one huge template. And the courses with the same name over a few games (i.e. Rainbow Road) could get their own articles for each version. --Steve (talk) 16:31, 23 October 2006 (EDT)

Usage in articles

A lot of articles work with templates listing courses in their corresponding game (see Royal Raceway, Template:Mario Kart 64 Courses). Shouldn't this template be used there instead? Cobold 09:00, 4 February 2007 (EST)

Comment

I don't wanna be mean, but i think that this template might have a D-Navbox or a Navigation Frame to reduce all those space. ©oin¢ollectorIt could be a great idea :)

Br clear all

Granted, this template is a bad example, but pages with many navigation templates end up with white lines between the templates because of a
. This is unneeded, it is the best to put it on the pages. - Cobold (talk · contribs) 12:03, 24 July 2007 (EDT)

Split.

I porpose that the Battle courses shall be moved to it's own template, entitled Template:Battlecourses. KingMario (talk)13 April 2008 10:29 (GMT +01)

Yes, give them their own template

 1. KingMario (talk) Per what I said.
 2. Wa Yoshihead.png TC@Y

No, keep them in this template

Collapsed

I collapsed the template. It's enormous size was hideous on articles. Plus, I took out the
, as that was adding some aesthetic displeasure to articles as well. — Stooben Rooben 11:33, 3 October 2008 (EDT)

Sort by cup

Draft: User:Lakituthequick/Draft#Talk Page Proposal on Template:Racecourses

I think the courses should be sorted on cup, not on alphabet.

Proposer: Lakituthequick (talk)
Deadline: September 29, 2011, 23:59 GMT.

Sort by cup

 1. Lakituthequick (talk) Per myself
 2. Reddragon19k (talk) Sorting... Per Lakitu! YES!!
 3. Tails777 (talk) Per all. It makes it easier to use.
 4. Bowser's luma (talk) Per all, it would make it much more nice looking and easier to use.
 5. Toad85 (talk) You have my support, but only if you do the same for every other Mario spin-off game that has cups (i.e. Mario Strikers Charged).

Sort on alphabet

 1. Bop1996 (talk) While I can see the merits of sorting by cup, since there's 4 cups and 16 Races for each game, this would make the template look aesthetically displeasing, so unless a user comes up with a solution that works well for that, I vote to keep alphabetized.
 2. Walkazo (talk) - The game templates already organize the courses by cup, so having this template go in alphabetical order gives readers more options when trying to sort through the links. Plus, cups are important to the games they're in, but this template isn't for the games, it's for navigating the courses across the entire series, in which case, alphabetical order is actually easier then cups, which shuffle around the themed courses, while their names often stay similar (i.e. the DK course is in the Special cup in MK64, Star cup in MKDD, and Flower cup in MKWii - it's much easier to find it each time by looking for the Ds, rather than sifting through all the cups).
 3. Mario Bros.! (talk) All of the templates are alphabetical...

Uhrm...any reasons? FakeIco MCD.png MrConcreteDonkey 13:54, 15 September 2011 (EDT)

Easier to see in which cup a course is, in Mario Kart games it also isn't sorted alphabetically. Lakituthequick.png Ltheq wSigChristmas.png Merry Christmas! 14:02, 15 September 2011 (EDT)
