Animal Friends
An Animal Buddy, also known as an Animal Friend and a Jungle Buddy, is a term relating to any type of creature that aids Donkey Kong and his friends and family on their various adventures. Some of the ways Animal Buddies aid the Kongs are by defeating enemies and unlocking secrets. Animal Buddies first appeared in the game Donkey Kong Country and have appeared in most subsequent Donkey Kong series games.
